    It’s a really good tv the only thing bad about it is if it’s bright in the room the night sense are hard to see

      We appreciate you sharing your experience with the AU8000 TV. Your details regarding the image quality of your TV during the day are important to us and will be shared with our internal teams. You may want to try adjusting image settings to improve your picture.

      Your TV has several Picture Modes to choose from allowing you to enjoy content in optimal conditions. Go to Home > Settings > Picture > Picture Mode
      1) Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments.
      2) Natural: Reduces eye strain for a comfortable viewing experience.
      3) Movie: Is suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room.
      4) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments.
      5) Filmmaker Mode: You can watch the source content (e.g., movie) as it is. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it will automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.

      You can also go to: Settings > Picture > Expert Settings and configure the TV settings to your taste with additional functions.

    Love it but I’m still learning how to get the most out of it. It’s the first smart, high def flat screen I’ve owned. I’ve had many 720 but this is the first 1080.

    You get what you pay for. The user interface is very slow and lags. The remote will not turn the TV on so I had to buy a new remote. It’s very flimsy so be careful with it and the picture is just okay. Would definitely recommend spending a little bit more to get something of better quality. Samsung used to be our go to TV but they have let us down the last year so will not be buying Samsung again.

      Hi!

      Thank you for purchasing the AU8000 Crystal UHD TV from Samsung and sharing your review. Your feedback regarding the performance of the Tizen smart platform is important to us and will be shared with our product teams.

      To optimize the smart TV performance, please try Device Care option under the Support Menu. Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care

      This service checks memory and frees up unused cached memory and closes background apps.

      Please also be sure you are running the latest firmware (ver1577.3). You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Settings > Support > Software Update.

      Regarding issues with the remote, if you press any key on the remote, and the LED indicator at the top of your remote stays on for about 3 seconds rather than blinking, please try the following steps to reset your remote:
      1) Long press the RETURN key and ENTER key together for about 10 seconds if your remote was once paired already with the TV, you do not need to re-pair it again. However, if it was not paired with the TV, pairing must be done after the reset.
      2) The RETURN key is on the left side of your remote and looks like a curved, backwards pointing arrow.
      3) The ENTER key is the button in the center of your directional ring.

    Good TV very flat with great dymamic color range. For the price and size I'm pleased. I wish there was a front port for quick HDMIhookup for a play statikn.
