Thank you for purchasing the Samsung 65" AU8000 Crystal UHD TV and for sharing your review. I am glad to hear you are enjoying the picture quality provided by your new 4K TV.
Please know that many of the buttons on your remote have multiple functions. For example, the Volume button is moved UP/DOWN to adjust volume, and to MUTE the sound, you need to PRESS it in. If that same button is pressed for > than 1 second, the Accessibility Shortcuts appears. Pressing the RETURN button (looks like a curved, backwards facing arrow) returns you to the previous menu, pressing it while watching a program will take you back to the previous channel.
You can download the AU8000 TV's User Manual, e-Manual, and Quick Setup Guide on Samsung's website by clicking "Support" > "Manuals & Software" > "TVs & Home Theater" > "TVs". From there, you can select the AU8000 under "Crystal UHD TVs" > "A Model Lineup" and download the guides you would like. The e-Manual is also embedded into the TV itself under Settings > Support > Open e-Manual.

As with past reviewers, the speakers aren't great, but I was buying a soundbar with this no matter what... and it makes a huge difference.

Light weight and easy to move around. I have it standing on the pedestals that it came with on a tv stand and have no problem with it seeming like it would fall from being top heavy (I have a 3 year old that likes to touch the tv - she thinks it should be touch screen like devices - and it has withstood her touching it). I'm slightly annoyed with having to unplug the tv every once in awhile when certain apps aren't function (can't connect to internet - that has been the recommended way to resolve connectivity issues). I'm also annoyed with it automatically going to the app, Samsung Tv, by default when it's first powered on which seems to be like 95% of the time rather than the last used app.

Your feedback and experience with App performance and the TV Plus feature is important to us and will be shared with our product teams.
Please know, Samsung TV Plus can be disabled, removing the channels from your default guide. Should you want to disable TV plus, follow the steps below:
1) Navigate to the Samsung TV Plus app and press the down button on the remote. This will bring up two options. ‘Move’ and ‘Remove’.
2) Navigate to ‘Remove’ and select. This option brings up the ability to remove the app icon or disable the service.
3) Navigate to ‘Disable’ and select. This will remove the service from the launcher bar and the channels from the TV Guide.
Alternatively, you can leave TV Plus enabled and utilize the Autorun Last App feature to automatically start the last app you used once the TV is turned on. To enable this feature, follow the steps below:
1) Navigate to Settings > General > Smart Features > Autorun Smart Hub
2) Enable the Autorun Smart Hub feature
3) Navigate to Settings > General > Smart Features > Autorun Last App
4) Enable the Autorun Last App feature

I'm in my seventies but still found it easy to use. Only disappointment is it won't download IMDB-TV app and I still have to use it on my Firestick, which slows things down.

However, when you are few feet away the picture gets blurry. Also, there is glare when set up too close to a window.
