You can spend less and you can spend more, but this TV sits in a sweet spot of paying a little bit more for a quality, up to date, brand name TV without spending for a lot of extra feature of the higher end models. The TV looks really sleek on its double stands, but make sure you are not expecting a center post stand like many other models.

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me tell you: This Tv is amazing, everything is great and smooth, picture quality is so good, i have a Sony 800H, LG and Sharp, but this one is excellent, the reason for the 3 stars is because when i had it already in the stand after all the hard work, the remote control wasn't working right out of the box, so goodbuy set up lol, that one went to the trash right away( The remote.) fortunately, Amazon has plenty of similar remotes with same day delivery so i bought two in case and they are working flawless. Samsung, I know the quality of your products, but this was... I'm not going to do the hard work again before check your products first, i'm so sorry

Thank you for purchasing the AU8000 and for sharing your experience with your remote not working out of the box. Please make sure the remote is paired with the TV for functionality.
To pair your remote:
1) Point the remote at the front of your TV.
2) Press and hold the Play/Pause buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds or more.
3) Wait for the Pairing Complete confirmation on your TV.

I've always been happy with Samsung products. I did a lot of research looking for a model to suit me, and lucked into a great sale. I'm very happy. Great picture, sound, and features. The remote doesn't resemble a plane cockpit, which is a plus.

The price was decent enough for 65" with 4k. The blacks aren't that deep, but it's not Oled so.... Overall a great buy. Fits my living room just fine. Oh I did have 2 return it & get anotha 1 the same day, because about 4 inches of the screen on the left side was completely black. But I don't think it was the TVs fault... Best Buy delivery I think was the cause.
