    Great price, that's all.

Bought as a doorbuster, returned day after Christmas. -HDR tech made things look "cartoonish" -Motion Rate 120 is a joke. It's a 60hz refresh and balls and feet DISAPPEAR when watching football. 4k contect from Netflix actually blurs when an animal turns it's head too fast. Sucks not just for sports, but regular watching. -OS and is not easy to use. Wife said "I hate this" three times in first 30 minutes of using it after I set everything up. Backing up from a screen or option is confusing and will sometimes to back one screen or sometimes go back to the main home program and stop your movie or close the app. -Remote layout is not intuitive -I bought for $850, and for a 65 INCH TV, it should have been a steal, but I was dissappointed. If I was using this at my office as a sign or for showing a computer desktop, I would have kept it and been very happy, but not for use in the home to watch anything on that moves or needs to look realistic.

I have had two Samsung last less than 2 years. Not very good quality anymore. Could be last time I buy a Samsung product forever!

    Great TV

My first 4k TV and very happy with it. Don't pay attention to those reviews below me. The smart remote comes with the 6300 model, this is the 6290 model. If you don't care about the remote and want to save some money this one is the choice for you. You can always buy the smart remote separately if you find yourself wanting it that badly at some point.

    Better than recommended

I went in the store and purchased another TV at first because the representative didn't highly recommend this TV. The TV I bought was smaller but more expensive than this one. After not seeing a great picture in the original TV, I brought it back and exchanged it for this TV. This TV far exceeded my expectations and it was 100.00 cheaper than the smaller TV I bought. This TV has a great picture, has a lot of settings to tweak the picture, and looks great hanging on a wall. I'm a fan of Samsung TVs and I couldn't be happier with my decision. At first I had an issue changing sources with the remote, but that was because the remote was trying to control my Dish DVR so I quickly reset the TV and skipped over the pairing with my DISH system so I could control the TV with the Samsung remote and the Dish system with the Dish remote. The other negative reviews about this TV didn't affect my purchasing decision and I'm glad I decided to see for myself!

Picked up this TV today. The stand installed easily. Be sure to tighten the screws well or the TV will lean forward. The picture quality is very good and is a nice upgrade from our 55”. I was uncertain if the sound would be good without a sound bar, but for us it is great. The remote is simple (no smart buttons) and I like Samsung’s setting menus, very easy to navigate. We like the traditional look for movies and Netflix and it has a movie setting. Amazing for gaming if you game and truly picks up visual detail I had not noticed before. Perhaps the more expensive TVs offer more, but this is perfect for us and at a good price.

We were very late in getting an updated TV, but when they stopped manufacturing the lamps for our rear-projection model, it was time. BB actually has the best prices and a very good selection. I did the research and this model got very good ratings and reviews, so we took the plunge. Opted for the GS install of the wall-mount and they even set-up the TV for us. Picture quality is outstanding. The sound is spectacular. It's like watching TV/movies for the first time. Case in point, we watched Die Hard the other day and it was like seeing the movie for the first time!! I highly recommend this TV!!!

This is a great tv, thought is might be a issue because the mu6290 does not have BT capablity for wifi speakers or a voice remote, i was wrong Samsung disable the features, so you can buy a more expensive tv, but you can access them with a code and enable the same features as the 6300

    Stunning when properly calibrated

I honestly believe that negative reviewers are completely ignorant about proper picture calibration, because after careful tweaking and adjustment this TV performs as well as many that are more than twice its cost. Jaw dropping clarity once you hit the "sweet spot".

    Big size with big issues..

Trying to retire my Samsung 58" plasma but so far, not happy. I bought this one but after few hours, this is what i found: 1. Motion Rate 120, it doesn't really work! I've played 5 different DVDs and one Blu-Ray movie and i kept on getting this skipped frame effect few times a minute, even after messing with the Judder Reduction option.. 75% smooth, 25% rough, it just sucks really bad, even on local programming channels.. 2. Sound: Audio going through my plasma tv was rich and loud for my little LG home theater system from Walmart, but this tv flattens the voice and i have to bump up the volume almost half to hear voices but then i get a explosion of bass and cant hear anything. Anytime+ worked once with audio through HDMI and next time never came up so i have to use Optical cable and switch it in the tv menu everytime i use my LG system because the tv speakers are great for a 5'x5' room.. 3. The TV STAND! What a pile of plastic junk! My plasma has a 20"x16" glass stand that rotates the TV left and right.. This thing, its fixed solid and very in the way of everything.. I cant put anything under this TV because those legs obstruct the IR signal, like a small android box or small DVD player box or even a digital clock.. 4. Smart Hub... <-- Not really smart, just full of useless apps that you cant delete! I hate facebook, i don't watch ESPN, i'm not paying any money for some TBS shows, why do i have to have 10+ apps on this TV that i will never use!?!?! Over half a gig of data wasted for apps that slow down the TV.. Debloat it, like a rooted galaxy phone, peoples options, not yours Sam! There are few others to list like the HDR option, it makes the picture look like a 1960s shows with all the dull colors.. And everytime you switch inputs that stupid and annoying smart hub shows up from the bottom and suggest you to click on a paid app so they could make money off of you.. Its a great step over technology but its too fake and restricted. Unlock the apps to delete them, delete that useless Motion 120 and make more options to control that tv to the consumer and you should have a better product.

Everything else is great except the TV would turn itself on and off especially during the middle of the night scare the heck out of my family... realized all samsung TV had the same problem no matter what model you get still trying to resolve the issue with Samsung Tech Support but might return and get an LG instead.

    Dark Picture

Seen the 65'' in the store compared to other TV's and it looked nice. Got it home and I prefer my 55'' Samsung that refused to turn on after 2 years. The picture is vivid and sharp but it is dark. Maxed out all the settings and picture modes to the brightest available and still it's dark. Wondering if this is typical or if there is something wrong with this TV.

Terrible TV on wifi connection reliability --

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Terrible tv, it's always disconnecting from the wifi and requiring us to unplug and then replug, wait 15 seconds and replug before it reconnects. Called Samsung support and they said to invest in a Wifi extender and place it near the TV. We did that and it still does it. None of our Visio TVs at our other properties do this. Never buying Samsung TV again. Waste of $1000+ dollars when we bought it.

Buyer beware. NOT an HDR TV

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Yes, it says "HDR compatible" in the specs. But it does not actually process or apply HDR to the picture. It will simply is capable of showing content that is encoded with HDR (without actually doing anything with it) . Very misleading. Funny so many complain about the HDR since this TV is not capable of it. Very misleading specs. Look for HDR processing term of some kind in the Sony specs (4K HDR Pro). If its not there, the TV can't do HDR. That's the reason this TV is so inexpensive... among others.

    DO NOT BUY THIS TV

My wife and I purchased this TV 2 months ago. The TV worked great untill the other day. The power supply went out and now I have no TV untill Samsung decides when they are going to fix it. This should not happen to any TV in the first year. Best Buy is worse than useless when it comes to returning anything unless its only been 14 days. They should not sell products that break in two months and if they do they should extend thier return policy to 90 days.

Warning! Do not buy this product! Poor quality!

Please read this review and immediately choose another TV. This TV stopped working after a few days. It constantly reboots and turns on and off on its own. The picture glitches out to a faded color too. This is the worst TV we have ever purchased. We trusted Best Buy and have been customers for decades, but they sold us a lemon!!! We paid a lot of money for the TV and instillation was expensive too! After such a lofty cost it is not working! You can’t even troubleshoot it because it shuts off and reboots in a repetitive loop. We almost never write poor product reviews, but consumers need to know about this and completely avoid this TV. Never expected a Samsung product to be this disappointing!!!
