not as good as my old Samsung TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had a 55" Samsung HD smart tv for many years, and have loved it, this newer 4K tv is not nearly as good, picture is great, but when you turn it off, it doesn't make that shut down sound, so already it's been left on when we left the room... It doesn't let me resume things I was watching from a thumb drive, doesn't show me which ones I have watched already like the great old Samsung tv, and already has not played 2 files that DO work on the old tv, it should play MORE files, not LESS... Samsung told me I should send it back to best buy and try other models, ALL 4k 65" models LOOK the same, and Samsung doesn't really give much of an owner's manual for a specific tv, it only says "some options are not available in certain areas, or with certain models" so how are we supposed to pick and choose?

It works very well for the intended purpose. Good video quality. Would suggest, as with most flat screens, to purchase external soundbar or speakers.
