This is by far the best TV I've ever owned. Picture is amazing even when whatever is showing is not 4k. Feels as if I own a 65" smart phone!!!

This TV surpasses my expectations! Crisp, clear picture with the most vibrant colors. Has a really nice stand to support it. Variety of options to choose from as to what color theme you want and many other things to change if you like. Watch for deals because if you can get it on sale you will not be disappointed. Even if not on sale it is one quality TV.

This is probably one of the best TVs within the mid-price range. I bought this tv back in September and liked it so much, I purchased another.

Remarkable image quality for both movies and games alike — and for a little over $1,500. Go for flat vs. curved to avoid unneceary reflections.

I have this mounted over my fireplace. It has great clarity and range of viewing. Can see it clearly from a distance and close up. A great TV

Wow, what a great set-up. The TV brings the action right into the room and the sound-bar makes every thing crystal clear. Home theater! WOW!

Moved up to a 4k from my older samsung 55" LED 8500 and the picture is fantastic. Highly recommend this set for those looking for an upgrade.

I'm the TV snob that only looks at Samsung (1st), Sony (2nd), and considers LG (3rd). I went to the store to compare the picture on the TVs side-by-side. I also did my research on rtings.com, recommended by the Best Buy Sales Rep (great site). In the store, they were playing from the 4K Dunkirk Movie DVD on the LG (OLED65B7A) and Samsung (UN65MU8000) side-by-side. Personally, I liked the picture on the Samsung better for that particular 4K DVD Movie viewing. The Sales Associate also mentioned that if you're used to the Samsung picture quality, you should probably stick with Samsung and if you're used to the LG picture quality, you should probably stick with LG (great advice). Rtings.com brings up some great reviews on best quality for: tv shows, dvds, gaming, 4k, etc. On paper, the LG should have blown the Samsung away; however, I made my own opinion before reading the reviews. I wasn't going back on my visual opinion (yes price was a factor as the Samsung was selling for $1,300, while the LG was almost twice the price @ $2,500). In the store, I also compared the Sony (XBR65X900E) and the Samsung 9000U. At the time, I couldn't see much difference justifying $400 more for the 9000U Samsung; however, after getting the TV home (and remembering what the Sales Rep told me) I noticed the lights over my kitchen island reflected more in the 8000U. This is a really important differential for natural (window) light or artificial indoor light in that the 9000U truly does reduce light glare more than the 8000U. I upgraded to the 9000U. I'm very happy with the 9000U. You do need to go to the websites (rtings.com, cnet.com, etc.) and find the optimal viewing settings that look right for you. The movie viewing (non 4k) on the Samsung 9000U truly blows me away. I should state that I don't intend to watch much 4k as I'm not planning on buying movies and there's not much 4k content out there on DirecTV. Netflix does have some 4k shows for about $4 per month. If you go with the Samsung 9000U, I would recommend you give the Sony XBR65X900E a fair comparison. Since I was considering the 8000U at the time, I ruled the Sony out with it being $400 more; however, at $400 more it's actually right in line with the Samsung 9000U. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 stars due to the fact that I upgraded to the 9000U with the anti-glare / light reflection (if you don't care about that, the 8000U may be fine for you). Enjoy !!

I researched this tv untill I was satisfied and pulled the trigger on it I love the connectivity and the picture in my opinion is perfect.

Great picture, good value. We love this tv. The sound is low with existing soundbar or tv speakers, but will be upgrading, so no worries.

I am mechanically inept and dread set up of anything. This TV was easy, easy to set up. Had it up and running ten minutes out of the box.

I got this TV for a good price after using the reward, i like the quality and high dynamic Range is as good as the QLED TVs, no compliants

I have not yet taken full advantage of the 4K, but so far this has been a great tv. Great for decluttering cables behind your tv as well!

I love that there’s no reflection from my front window on the TV anymore! The pictures awesome and I love the voice activation function.

TV is great! Service was great! I looked at all models, and this is great for the price. It looks great mounted with the Samsung speaker.

This tv is to good to be true, the quality is out of this world, the set up is easy just all around home theater set up dream comet true.

Easy to watch, nice picture, smart, built in apps. Installation team arrived on time, got it mounted, set up and showed me how to use it.

Very nice clarity and value. Honestly one of my favorite things about this TV is the remote that comes with it. Very easy to use. Small enough to fit comfortably in small hands. Extremely tactile. It does not light up when you push buttons but your fingers can easily navigate due to minimal buttons and ease of use.
