the tv that we bought has every feature we wanted and is easy to operate. we have an older model smart tv but this unit far exceeds the color and quality of our previous model. the fit for our family room is great and the cost was what we hoped for. the delivery crew was very prompt and in fact was at the earlier part of the time frame given. overall our satisfaction with purchase and delivery was spot on.

I am in love with this TV. Did a lot of research and bought this and never looked back. Go to rtings.com and use their calibration and you will be amazed. I am not using this to it's full potential with 4k yet with the exception of Netflix 4k through the app on the TV, but it is one amazing beast. Best in the price range.

Super easy set up , absolutely incredible picture! The 8000 series is just as good as the 9000. Almost exactly the same specifications but I slightly lower price. Two years same as cash financing made a deal I could not turn away .

Pros: Picture quality is excellet. Watching 4k hdr content looks stunning. This tv if great for the price. The tv cord is not long enough to reach certain outlets but nothing an extension cant fix. I traded in my mu6070 that was purchased on black friday for this tv. Picture quality is 10 times better. Sound quality is not the best but it is good. Wifi works great for this smart tv.

Upgraded from a 8 year old 50" Samsung plasma tv. I'm very pleased with the screen resolution and Smart features. My viewing seats are only 8' from the screen because I live in an apartment. So glad that I went for the larger screen size. With my existing surround sound system (including a new 4k receiver) I have a true home theater in a relatively small space at an affordable cost.

My husband and I contemplated buying a new tv over a year and continued to question the one we wanted. After talking to numerous Best Buy employees, the mu8000 consistently had some of the best reviews. We are beyond happy with the choice we made. And don't let the reviews scare you, as long as you know how to set up HDMI.. the tv setup is extremely user friendly!

In July 2017, after much research, I purchased a Samsung 65" LED UN65MU8000 from Best Buy for about $1800. It replaced a still going strong 55" Samsung LCD LN55B640R3, I also got from Best Buy in 2010, which I've had no trouble with. The new TV found the router, sucked down an update, and was a cinch to set up. A few quick YouTube 4K videos showed the color was factory preset right-on to me as well. So after a lot of pre-buy website bookmarking for settings, I later deleted the links. I found the Samsung Sound Bar purchased in 2012 wouldn't work with either TV's remote. The TV's remote will not work with the Samsung Sound Bar, but works the basics on my SuddenLink cable box, and Samsung BluRay player. The picture is very bright, and very colorful. Technically, the same category of Sony I almost bought may have the better picture. But this picture is great. The all in one connection box is ok, and may make cabling neater for some. All around, a really nice TV with a great picture.

I love this TV. I first bought the 6 series but was not happy with the picture quality and took it back. Did some research and found that the 8 series was the best pick for the price and I was not disappointed. The TV was very easy to install, I love the quality and you pretty much get a full screen since the frame is so tiny you can't tell from far away.

Easy to set up, great picture and beautifull looking on TV stand.

This Tv by far was one of the easiest Tv to set up almost did have to do much just select if I had cable or dish one I confirmed what I had that was it. I didn't have to program any remotes any other items I plugged into the Tv it picked it right up. The picture quality is unreal I love how it changes on the different movies an Tv shows.

I am very pleased with this TV. Besides a great picture it looks very good on the legs supplied that hide the cables. Based on my research this TV has very good features for the price. The remote is easy to use with both buttons or voice control.

I've been a fan of Samsung for a while now. I already had a 4K TV, I just wanted a larger, more recent version. I bought this one and I am very pleased. I have the Apple TV 4K, the Amazon 4K Fire-stick and a Samsung 4k Blu-ray player. They all work well with the TV and the screen just pops with color and clarity.

Beautiful 65" Samsung UHD TV. Love the mini connect external hookups. Synced right away with our Samsung soundbar, Samsung 4k Blu-Ray player, and our Amazon Fire box. I do miss the old full-function remotes with the numeric keypad, but the new "fancy" remote has a voice command feature that really does work.

Was easy to set up (needed a little help in lifting it to the TV stand), and gives a fantastic picture. The sound is OK considering the size constraints of the speakers, and is better than expected. I wasn't sure that I would like the remote control but, after using it a few times, it is my absolute favorite.

I have not spent this much on a TV in the past. However, the TV appears to be worth it price so far. As expected, the picture quality is excellent. What I really like is the responsiveness of the smart features. The tv turns on instantaneously and all the apps run fast and smoothly. I would often get frustrated with Chromecast on my old tv since it often would fail to cast apps on the first few attempts. Now I no longer need to use Chromecast. The TV remote is small and works really well. My Spectrum cable can be controlled through the remote and I can switch to it just like switching to any app, without needing to toggle through the different hdmi ports. Let's hope this TV remains glitch free.

I purchased this TV to replace a 55" Samsung Smart TV I moved to a different room. The picture quality is exceptional. The start up time is instantaneous compared to the older Samsung and LG in our basement which take 5-10 seconds to show image content. The One Connect box is a great feature along with the ability to route the power and One Connect box cables through the stand leg. This makes for a clean look on the back of the tv with no visible wires showing. It was simple to set up and connect to our wireless router. Streaming 4K content from Amazon Video really shows the capabilities of the 2160 4K display. panel. Even our cable looks much better on this tv. I would recommend getting a good HDMI cable. There was a noticeable difference once I replaced the old HDMI that was supplied by the cable company with a high speed, 4K HDMI cable. I know some people think that all HDMI cables do the same thing, but I had the occasional picture freeze and sound drop out with the old cable and the new high speed 4K one eliminated all of that.

Picture quality is superb! 4K videos are so vivid. Great sound too. Would still get a sound bar eventually though to top it off. Love the universal remote and apps. Just wish on demand features were included, still have to use Fios remote for that. Overall 10/10. More than happy with our purchase

Very thin. Beautiful picture quality. We mostly stream thru Fire Tv and was pleasantly surprised the remote for the TV works also for the Fire TV so one remote is all that is needed. Have this paired thru Bluetooth to Logitech speaker surround system which makes for superb home theater experience.
