Awesome 4k picture. Upconverts he to lifelike 4k video. Even my old DVD home videos look like 4k. Setup was incredibly easy, especially since I have a Samsung galaxy phone also. Can't rave enough about it. No need to spend double the price on qled tv, the 8000 series with hdr looks just as good

Compare with others in class and this Samsung has everything you want. Marginal improvements (like slightly deeper blacks, 2 more ports on the OneConnect, etc) come at a steep price. This TV has a great picture, excellent motion rate, and super slim design. The OneConnect box is so great. The cord from the TV to the OC box tends to sag just a bit from the bottom of the TV but can be helped with some electrical tape or similar. Seamless integration with my DIRECTV and other devices and the remote is truly universal. The Samsung smartv menu is one of the more easily navigable systems I've seen to connect wireless audio or external video quickly and simply.

I can't get my son and husband away from this TV. I had a smaller Samsung that was still working but just wanted to get a bigger size and 4K. Picture and quality is amazing! Easy to use remote. So happy with this purchase. I even got the Samsung sound bar to go with it and it synced right up!

We had a 60 inch DLP TV for 11 years. The cost of repair without much hope for the future suggested a new TV. We reviewed and examined various online and in house TVs. There were many that were lower cost than the one we purchased. After reading reviews and listening to the various options with a Best Buy customer representative, we decided to go with quality versus price. We have now had the TV for two weeks and see the dramatic difference from our previous ones. We opened the box that Best Buy delivered and followed simple instructions.. The ONE CONNECTION was a bonus as there were no connections problems. The TV connected immediately with the cable box and other devices such as DVR and sound system. The color and depth of color provides a picture that has a 3d appearance.

This tv has a beautiful display, setup is the fastest I’ve experienced, great built in smart features, runs smooth and is a very nice tv overall. I am a firm believer that Samsung has always made great tv’s. Oh and the one connect box makes hooking up other electronics to it extremely easy.

This tv has an awsome picture for the price! The best feature is definitely the voice remote that allows you to do everything from changing inputs, picture settings, and switching between apps by just talking to it. The setup was very simple and the one connect box is super convenient.

I have had several Samsung televisions over the years and they are all still working. I just keep upgrading to a bigger and better version. Simple to set up and easy to figure out. The only thing that I was a little disappointed with this one is when I put it up on the wall. There is a slight curve to the back and the directions said I had to use there spacers with my mount. It is not as tight to the wall as my older 55. Super thin tv but sticks out a bit.

Upgraded from a Samsung 55 inch lcd tv to this new model. 10 years is a long time and alot has changed since my last upgrade. Picture quality is incredible, the sound quality is awesome, and i am truly impressed. Controls are easy to use, and set up is a breeze. Nice work Samsung.

The 65" Samsung TV is an outstanding TV with excellent picture and sound quality. The Series 8000 4K picture is better than viewed in the showroom. It was also easy to set up. I like the "one-box" feature so you don't have to get to the back of the TV for other device connections.

Tv is spectacular and if anyone is bothered by soap opera effect you can deal with that in the settings as far as the other aspects of this tv the Apple TV like features are amazing and this tv is spectacular in every way including outside design which is so sleek and elegant

I was comparing this one to the same model that is curved. I read reviews of some of the newer models with QLED but really happy with this purchase. I had an older LED and wanted to upgrade to something 4K. I think it’s a good in between compared to the higher priced models.

We started purchasing Samsung TVs 10 years ago as they make a great TV. While we haven't had time to get this fully setup yet, I am excited for the new era of 4K in our house. I really like the remote on this one and can't wait to hook it up to the rest of my 4K components.

Beautiful picture, love the One connect system. The new TVs actually have a 9ft 7 in cable for the One Connect. Only draw back is the One Connect may cause you a few challenges when hooking up to a Audio receiver. Great buy for the price. Don't see the need for the QLED.

This tv replaced a 52" Samsung in my living room and I was so pleased it actually took less room due to its slim design. Actual Tv is beautiful. The picture is really good..demo at best buy looked much better than out of package setup but after fooling with a few settings it has a really nice picture and very easy to setup. Not sure if I would have bought this at full price but happy with it for the sale it was on -well worth it.

Great TV . Just as good as the Sony but $200 cheaper. I was not a fan of the hdmi box at first but it works fine with setup. Picture quality is great and goes very well with Xbox one x because the quality refresh rate in 4K. This is a great buy at the price point.

Found at Best Buy on sale. Already had researched several tvs and this was one. Very nice TV. Had a little difficulty mounting to a wall rack we already had because of lack of bolts. Bolts are longer on this TV then on what was provided with the wall mount. After getting the right bolts TV mounted perfectly. Very nice to have the HDMI connection box in my equipment rack instead of running numerous HDMI cords up to the TV. Getting everything to work with simple and the TV remote works cable box also which makes things very convenient. Picture is great although still suffering from lack of 4K content. Apps have work perfectly and I have had no trouble streaming any quality video to this TV. I must note though that I used an ethernet cable directly to my router since I figured 4K video would take a lot of bandwidth. I would highly recommend this TV to anyone who is considering it.

The picture quality of this television is superior. The flat screen allows view-ability from any point in my family room which means more people can watch and be comfortable at the same time. The colors are crisp, vibrant, and clear. The imagery is realistic.

Purchased this TV after looking at many and believe this is best value for the current technology. The set up was easy and the picture is great with and amazing refresh rate. Love the voice activated commands and the ability to stream from the vendor of choice. I watch a lot of sports programming and the detail and motion is incredible. First I noticed was the rotation on the football when passed. Almost appears as if you are on the sideline watching the game. Streaming is easy and the picture quality is excellent. Definitely glad I went to the store and looked at option. I replaced a 50" Samsung plasma 3d that has been a great set. It will find a new home at my son's house. Nice upgrade. The latest technology will cost you much more, but I believe this is the top of the technology that is going to replaced this next year. Great value for what was the high end not that long ago.

If you're sitting on the fence between a 55-inch and 65-inch TV, go for the bigger screen. This Samsung 8000 series is wicked beautiful. Deep blacks, eye-popping colors. It's hyperrealistic. The built-in speakers aren't bad, but you'll want a soundbar, a subwoofer and surround speakers if you're a movie fiend like me. The Geek Squad boys who delivered and set-up the television told me this model is one of Best Buy's top sellers. Catch it on sale. At the price point (under $1,500), I saw nothing else in the showroom that could compare. Very happy with this purchase.

I bought the TV and a Samsung sound bar. Set up was easy and I really liked the separate box for HDMI cables. Makes it nice and clean behind the TV. But, I couldn't finish the set up. The TV would not accept a zip code regardless of 30 attempts including different zip codes from all over the country. I called Samsung and got support in less than five minutes. They confirmed that they were aware of the zip code problem and ensured that an engineer would get back to me in a couple of days. What? A brand new TV and I couldn't use it for two days? Later, the TV actually worked. But now I couldn't get the sound bar to work. Called Samsung again. They said the sound bar was bad and I should return it to Best Buy. The manager was very helpful and had a new sound bar shipped to my house. The new sound bar didn't work either. So, Best Buy sent the Geek Squad to ensure that I set up the TV properly. They came and worked for an hour and a half and confirmed that my set up was perfect. So, now they shipped a new TV. After about two weeks of trouble, three visits to the store because no one was returning calls, the TV works just fine. I was very disappointed with the manager because he was actually annoyed with me for bothering him in the store. He made a point that when the new TV gets delivered they would not do the set up because I didn't pay for the service. But, I didn't spend over $3,000 to be without being able to use my purchase for days, made numerous calls to Samsung and Best Buy and got little support. The least they could have done was to help with the set up considering that I did it correctly twice. I now love the TV and the sound bar. But, it was really not a good experience.
