ThisTV, (un65mu9000) is the best tv I have ever seen. The picture quality is breath taking. The color is vibrant. While watching a movie or tv show, it seems almost like 3D, and the people in the show or movie seem like they are right in the room with me. Absolutely the best tv I have ever seen.

TV looks great. Clean set up for wires looks smooth if not mounted on the wall like mine is. I like the minimalist remote. Picture is great - just turn the motion smoothing off. I purchases for sports and movies and love it for both.

I am a Samsung loyalist, when it comes to televisions. I am a fan of high contrasts and brightness. This television is simply amazing. I upgraded from my 55" Samsung F9000 4K, and the improvements are very noticeable. The television looks slick. Very thin and has a nice stand. It is not curved, which I prefer. The picture is super clear, colors are well defined, and 4K looks beautiful on Netflix. I use this tv for gaming also, and every game looks great on it. When I game on my PC in 4K, I am amazed about how far visual quality has come. This tv is your best choice. I was going to choose the QLED but I wasn't a fan of the darker display.

I bought this based on some reviews and it was a Black Friday week special. The picture for me was a great improvement from the plasma tv I’d had for about 8 years. It makes people and places look so real. It was easy to set up and find the stuff I wanted to use. The only issue I had was putting the stand on it. The screen is so thin I was concerned I would damage it trying to get the stand attached. I plan on putting it on the wall in the near future. It seems as though it could tip forward easy but it is fairly stable so far on its stand. A good price difference between this and the new OLED models since it was a holiday special.

I was looking at lower priced TVs to replace my 60" Vizio that suddenly died, but Best Buy gave me a price match on a 65" Samsung MU9000 TV, saving me HUNDREDS of dollars over the SALE price listed on their site. I couldn't pass it up! The TV required some minor calibration changes that I got from the internet, but once done, the picture quality is excellent from FIOS. I do have a minor issue with glare, but nothing I can't live with. I haven't tried to stream 4K / HDR content yet, but I expect that I will not be disappointed. I may eventually buy a sound bar, but honestly I have no issue with the sound quality. Thanks Best Buy!

If you want a very affordable 4K TV complete with full HDR, look no further. The 4K TV also performs very well with video games such as Xbox one x & ps4 and will support all of its features, the TV also has great sound that you can change in settings, movies also look breath taking in 4K complete with stunning visuals and motion. Speaking of motion , I’ve noticed absolutely 0% motion blur while viewing or playing high paced video games or movies. Definitely a good bang for your buck.

Tv has amazing colors, good contrast between white and black. Really good for gaming, however, it was tearing at first, until I found about the gaming feature and the games do not tear often. Certain games do tear a little but sure if its the console or the tv. I did have problems setting up the smart hub but that was more on my side as I did not push the connectors all the way. The tv does have a problem as my tv is not mounted on a wall I use the stand it came with it tilts to the left and I had to use some items to balance out the tv. Not sure why it does that.

I asked the folks at BestBuy for advice and they provided me with valuable information, input and direction. Originally was in the market for 75 inch TV but per their guidance ended up with the best dollar for dollar deal on recent technology and beautiful picture. Easy to use, does so much and great picture.....and got it on sale with triple rewards ($700 off plus $300 extra toward other purchases with which I bought a Samsung 4K bluray player.....also great!).

This unit was bought to replace a 55" rear-projection TV from the early 90's that did have HD capability (sort-of). This unit's picture quality is exceptional, especially with HD broadcasts and Blu-Ray. My only disappointment is in the audio options: with my compromised hearing, I need more volume, and with previous devices have used headphones supplied by an auxiliary audio output, but this unit has only one connection, which is fed from an external I/O box with 4 HDMI ports & an optical audio output. I've had to buy another adapter to broadcast the optical audio signal to a set of Bluetooth headphones. I've not yet been successful at with getting the Headphone sound to sync with the TV/Sound bar, so I get a bit of an echo effect, which does not enhance my listening experience. There is a function in the TV settings that suggests multiple audio outputs are available to configure, but apparently this is not available on this particular model. Other than that, I am quite pleased with the unit.

Just installed my Samsung 65” LED 2160p 4K Ultra HD with High Dynamic Range. I set it up with a great Denon Amp and surround sound speaker. The picture is outstanding and has unbelievable clarity....especially watching sporting events. Installation was a cinch mounting on stone. Smart TV features are basic and easy use. Finally the price was an excellent value for all of the high tech features!

Sorry Samsung - We wanted to love it but don't. It's apples & oranges to compare this to my previous 1080p Panasoinc ZT60 but in fairness, in some respects it was an improvement. Brightness was an obvious upgrade this being lcd technology. 1080p source material was handled well but the image processing seemed to accentuate edges and other aspects of the image to a more poppy - less realistic degree. Dynamics over realism appears to be their goal and if so, in this regard they succeed - on 1080p bluray and other premium sources that is. That being said I probably would have kept the set if not for the 2 topics in the subject line. Off axis viewing was poor. Any seat except the sofa directly in front of the tv was severely compromised. Unwatchable in my opinion. Also - the lower resolution the source like cable vs blu ray - the worse the viewing angle was. The other issue I had was that any material other than 4k or 1080p bluray was poorly handled. Even 1080p from cable was poorly handled at my 9-10' viewing distance. I realize this set has to create more artificial pixels than my 1080p plasma did, but it did it poorly in my experience with it. Viewing from 4-6 feet away newscasters appeared almost "painted" with odd artifacts in shadows and details of their faces. Instead of looking like hairs, their hair looked like it was gunked up with wax or or some super gluey hair product - hard to explain. You wouldn't see "hairs" per se but rather a clump of hairs would be a single shape as if it was actually lower resoloution than it actually is. Whatever kind of edge and shadow enhancement and algorithms for creating the missing pixels they are using it did not work for me. Even my wife who does not have the best vision noticed and was bothered by it as much as I was. She hates it when I buy, fiddle with, then am dissatisfied by AV tech and end up returning or tweaking all the time but she was as if not more adamant about the return as I. I know I've been pretty hard on this set but that's my honest opinion. For full disclosure, I'm very picky as this is my primary hobby/entertainment and as stated before my last set was a Panasonic ZT 60. Arguably the best consumer display made up to that point. If you are viewing from a greater distance this set might work fine for you but if you're sitting within 10' and want a more realistic picture (rather than poppy or exaggerated) and something that handles broadcast material well then I don't think this is the set for you. We migrated to a Sony XBR 930E and are very happy with that move. The viewing angle is far wider and the picture is more realistic and far better at handling average resolution material like cable broadcasts. The image processing Sony touts in the X1 Extreme processor is not hype. It is superioir - at least to the SamsungX9000. Overall they XBR 930 is a far better display. It does not reach the black levels that plasma does or handle motion as adeptly but the overall performance is such that even I (picky as they get) don't find myself noticing or thinking about it. I just enjoy what I'm watching, and that is what it's all about.

I went into Best Buy with plans to just view the new 4k Tv's that were on sale for Black Friday (2017). After Viewing the 7000 series and this TV (8000 series) side by side the picture and the colors were noticeably different. The QLED was out of my price range but this 8000 series was right for me. After spending about a little over a month with this TV mostly playing my regular Xbox One I couldn't believe the difference in picture quality that this TV up-scales. I don't use it as a smart TV like most people that 's what my game consoles are for, so I can't give a review for that. About the only downside it the VCR tape sized all in one box for your connections. I'm not really impressed with not being able to hook directly into the TV with my HDMI's but it cleaned up my cables since I have the TV mounted on the wall. The other thing that I wished was the power cord needed to be longer. I ended up running a extension cord to TV because of the height I have it mounted it's too short. I'm getting a Xbox one X soon so I'll be able to enjoy 4K.

The service when going to pick out a tv was exceptional. We were a little overwhelmed but knew we wanted a big size tv (60”+). It turns out we got the size, picture quality, and price all in one!! Move in one week and this puppy is going on the wall and we couldn’t be more excited!

So far so good, I've owned my set for almost two months and my Samsung - 65" Class - LED - MU9000 Series - 2160p - Smart - 4K UHD TV with HDR, Is great so far, I'll say this if you can find one, compare it to the newer ones that's just came out, there is really no difference and this particular tv, holds it's own against the competition, you will not be disappointed. I read the reviews, pros and cons and I am here enjoying a great tv with a awesome picture. Do your home work and compare the different tv's and this one will should come out on top, at least it did for me. I looked for over two and a half months, and this was the one that topped them all. I'm very happy so far, and hope and pray it stays that way. Go get your tv bro!

I bought this to replace my low level LG 4k TV that i didnt like. Not LG's fault it was a previous year LG black friday sale i paid $700 for , so i wasnt expecting much. The samsung has a bright picture and some really great darks and i always loved the motion plus look. The game mode works really well with the xbox one X as does the 4k movies. Its not as good as the best of LG but i do like it better than the comparable sony TV . I like the build quality on the TV better than anything on the market and the samsung one connect is almost a must have for a wall mounted TV with little space. This is my 4th tv i have , the others are a 40inch 1080p sony bravia, LG 65 inch 4k low level , a samsung 55inch top of the line TV from 2011.
