Really beautiful tv. well done Samsung! My friends and I can't stop watching , great color and sharpness. great learning remote too. Love it!

Purchased this TV based off of in-store viewing and online reviews. The TV is ultra thin and the picture quality is great for a UHDTV 4K with 240MR. The ease of the installation and setup makes this an even better buy. The ability to connect to the WiFi and download your favorite apps is fantastic. I can surf the web from the couch, connect to my Pandora or XM Radio, watch YouTube, Amazon Prime, Netflix and so on. Purchased this at the beginning of October 2017 for $1,799.00. The price fell $100.00 at the beginning of November.

This Samsung 4k HDTV HDR is just excellent for watching movies, Nice picture and nice definition... great purchase for that price..

Colors are vibrant, and picture quality is amazing. Staff at store was instrumental in helping me select my equipment.

Tv has amazing colors, good contrast between white and black. Really good for gaming, however, it was tearing at first, until I found about the gaming feature and the games do not tear often. Certain games do tear a little but sure if its the console or the tv. I did have problems setting up the smart hub but that was more on my side as I did not push the connectors all the way. The tv does have a problem as my tv is not mounted on a wall I use the stand it came with it tilts to the left and I had to use some items to balance out the tv. Not sure why it does that.

I went into Best Buy with plans to just view the new 4k Tv's that were on sale for Black Friday (2017). After Viewing the 7000 series and this TV (8000 series) side by side the picture and the colors were noticeably different. The QLED was out of my price range but this 8000 series was right for me. After spending about a little over a month with this TV mostly playing my regular Xbox One I couldn't believe the difference in picture quality that this TV up-scales. I don't use it as a smart TV like most people that 's what my game consoles are for, so I can't give a review for that. About the only downside it the VCR tape sized all in one box for your connections. I'm not really impressed with not being able to hook directly into the TV with my HDMI's but it cleaned up my cables since I have the TV mounted on the wall. The other thing that I wished was the power cord needed to be longer. I ended up running a extension cord to TV because of the height I have it mounted it's too short. I'm getting a Xbox one X soon so I'll be able to enjoy 4K.

This is the best TV we have experienced. Great picture and great sound. Especially easy to use controls.

I was unhappy with my vizio e65 and a best buy assosciate talked me into samsung. They had a great open box deal on this MU9000. I'm pretty picky when it comes to tv's, especially when spending over $1500. This displays HD cable ok, nothing spectacular. Bluray movies look fantastic, and 4k movies are downright spectacular. Out of the box, the picture settings are very flat so watch some calibration videos on YouTube, cuz they need some playing with to really bring out the color of this display. Most ppl will be dazzled by the color and smooth motion, I can pick out some vertical blooming around bright objects against dark backgrounds, think of star wars, seeing the death star against a starfield. Being an edge lit tv, a scene like this tends to wash out the blacks a bit. But again, I'm picky and notice these things that most ppl would not. Otherwise, movies are great, streaming HD on Netflix looks great. Last but not least, this tv is amazingly think. Like ridiculous, half as as thick as my thumb, looks fantastic on a wall, and the one connect box makes plugging devices in very clean and free of messes. I've noticed that my xbox likes to turn off or on by itself aometimes, so I had to disconnect the anynet+, which is a feature samsung likes to brag about, but I have just. found annoying. I also have a sound bar plugged in via the optical cable and the t.v. does not control the volume, so thats annoying, but I bought it for the picture quality. There are better performing tv's out there like the sony x900e, but I got a great deal on this and I'm happy with it.

Everything I was looking for in a television. Great picture, lots of features, very user friendly.

Too early to give it a full review as I’ve only had it for a couple of weeks. But the quality of the picture is great blacks are very deep and contrast is excellent

I caught this Tv on sale for $1699 with the option for 0% @ 24 months. I was looking at the 8000 series, but the 9000 was only $200 more. The colors are amazing everything looks like it’s going to pop out of screen it’s so clear and defined. On this tv everything plugs into a one connect unit. The tv recognizes what the device is in the menu setup so everything is done thru one small remote no clutter here.

This TV has and incredible picture quality. Anything in native 4K looks absolutely amazing, as well does any 1080 signal. The color range is phenomenal and after some calibration the darks are also very good. The sound quality from the speakers are mediocre as is to be expected. I see no reason to spring for the QLED when this TV comes so close to matching the picture quality. Highly, highly recommended.

ThisTV, (un65mu9000) is the best tv I have ever seen. The picture quality is breath taking. The color is vibrant. While watching a movie or tv show, it seems almost like 3D, and the people in the show or movie seem like they are right in the room with me. Absolutely the best tv I have ever seen.

For mid-range tvs, the 9 series are considered top line in this category. Picture is super clear, apps such as Hulu and Netflix works without lag, easy, smart hub connects every external device, and the "one remote" can control multiple devices.

I am a Samsung loyalist, when it comes to televisions. I am a fan of high contrasts and brightness. This television is simply amazing. I upgraded from my 55" Samsung F9000 4K, and the improvements are very noticeable. The television looks slick. Very thin and has a nice stand. It is not curved, which I prefer. The picture is super clear, colors are well defined, and 4K looks beautiful on Netflix. I use this tv for gaming also, and every game looks great on it. When I game on my PC in 4K, I am amazed about how far visual quality has come. This tv is your best choice. I was going to choose the QLED but I wasn't a fan of the darker display.
