    Excellent except for freezing on startup

    We bought this tv on Black Friday sale to replace a 16 year old Hitachi, when the picture began to fail. The NU6900 worked perfectly, until we disconnected the satellite two weeks later. Then, when turning the tv on in the morning, after being off for several hours, everything was frozen, it wouldn’t open any apps and we would get error messages. You would have to turn the tv off for about 30 seconds and when turned back on, it would reboot and everything was perfect until the next morning. I thought it may have been an internet problem. Spectrum came out, tested the speed and checked for any outside problems. We have the newest router and modem, so they found no connectivity problems. Geek Squad came out and they tried everything and finally did a factory reset. He said if that doesn’t work, call back. The same thing happened so I called Best Buy. I was within the extended holiday return policy, so Best Buy said I could exchange or return the tv. I replaced with NU6070, since NU6900 was out of stock. It worked perfectly for a few days, then the same problem started. I began to think Samsung app TV Plus was the guilty culprit, since that was the channel on the screen in the morning with the frozen picture. I deleted all the channels in the app, then “removed” the app. Have not had a problem since. It is my opinion that there is an issue with that particular app and it was not the tv. The picture is awesome, has beautiful color, right out of the box and the sound is good.

    I bought this TV as a birthday present/housewarming gift for my daughter after she bought her first house. We took it out of the box, got everything hooked up and turned it on. The setup process was quick and easy, but we noticed a horizontal shadow about 2.5 inches wide running from side-to-side right about the mid-point of the screen with what looked like individual pixels lit up a little brighter than the shadow causing lighter spots in the shadow. Once the setup was complete we started switching through the inputs and we were really disappointed to see the shadow was still there. Called the store where I bought it, and while working throught the phone menu, then waiting for someone to answer I navigated to the Settings menu and decided I'd try doing a complete reset on the unit. The reset was pretty quick and then we were back to going through the initial setup, but the shadow was gone. Working through the different inputs we were happy to see it was no longer visible on any of the screens. I'm not sure what caused it, but happy the reset fixed it so I didn't have to take the legs off, box it back up and return it. The picture quality is great, even on the local HD channels from the broadcast antenna. Hopefully the shadow doesn't return, but if it does I'm very happy we bought the service plan.

    Great TV for the money

    I purchased this about a month ago, after my 18 month old Insignia bit the dust. (Still salty about that one). I wanted something with a better name brand, but didn't want to break the bank, especially as I hadn't been planning to purchase a new TV. Found this Samsung 65" for a good price, and was able to get one of the last ones my local store had in stock. Picture is great, it gets nice and bright. It's a smart TV, which is nice. Cons: Only 2.4ghz wireless, no 5ghz - I ended up wiring it with ethernet as I hated the slower 2.4 speed. Only 2 HDMI ports - not a huge deal, as that's how many I use, but if I swap things in and out, I have to unplug something. Keep this in mind if you have a bunch of connections. The samsung Tizen operating system is okay - it's not nearly as fluid or intuitive as the Roku os that I'm used to - but it gets the job done. Overall, I'm super pleased with the quality of picture, and the sound is even pretty decent on its own. It's been a great replacement for the Insignia I had. Hoping it lasts much longer than 18 months.

    Bought this for the super bowl on sale and after over 1 month of use I am very happy with the performance for the price. It's basically the same TV and the incoming 7xxx series (same screen) but only has 2 HDMI inputs and is was 20% lower price. Color and HDR are very good and I am happy with the contrast ratio. When I evaluated my needs I thought 2 HDMI inputs would be sufficient but have since found a 3rd would be very handy indeed since where I have it installed it is difficult to get to the ports. Speaking of the inputs on the rear of the TV, I am definitely not a fan of the location and orientation f the ports. I have larger hands and plugging devices in, e.g., a Fire Stick, is very cumbersome and sometimes I felt as if I may damage either the port or the cable/device being plugged in. When

    It's a really good 65' TV. Picture is really nice except when their are fast movements.. (watching The Price is Right) when they scan the camera around the audience, this TV makes it "shaky/stutters" it's hard to explain. Otherwise all the features are great, our cable is hooked up and great. Only other complaint is right now I'm watching Thursday Night Football and have the TV volume setting up loud but it's not very loud at all. I'm going to make a purchase for a sound system or what not. Some channels are super loud on 20 and some I have to put on 50+.

    Beautiful picture but....

    So far so good. The picture and sound are amazing. But I think for $700 Samsung could have thrown in the 4 odd metric screws we needed to attach the chintzy plastic legs. Had to find them, then find a metric tool. The set up guide on the TV is great but I would have liked a little better instructions in the box. We have decided we need a wall mount because the legs really are pieces of crap. BUT the TV itself is impressive.

    This TV has a great picture and I am extremely happy with my purchase. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because it was a little difficult to mount on the wall. Samsung TV’s now come with little adapters for the mounting screws. None of the screws in my “universal” wall mount kit were long enough the fit. I had to run to a hardware store to find M8 screws that were long enough (50mm).

    This is my first smart tv and I am pretty impressed. The only downfall so far is that the Directv Now app installed on the tv is only a “beta” version and due to that, it’s not fully functional and causes issues. Because if that, I still need to use my Roku to watch tv. Every other function works great. I had to call Samsung customer service a few times due to the previous stated app issue and they were very helpful and polite.

    I purchased this TV because it was on sale and I really wanted a 65 inch. I feel like the TV is not as "4K HD" As others on the market..but for this price point you cannot go wrong. All of my TV's in my household are Samsung but this is my first Smart TV. I have no issues with my connection and we can see Netflix, YouTube and amazon prime perfectly. I would purchase again.

    The picture quality was excellent on this TV. My only gripes about the TV was that it only has 2 HDMI ports and no audio Jack's. I have a slightly older Sony surround sound and could not plug it in. I ended up exchanging TV for an LG TV with 3 HDMI ports and audio Jack's but the Samsung in my opinion has a better picture

    Great picture and decent sound although I purchased a Samsung sound bar to go w it. Very user friendly and easy to operate. So far after a week I love the app configuration. Netflix works great but Hulu and Amazon are not working. I can navigate to shows but they won't start. Only other negative is only 2 HDMI inputs.

    There was one issue in the beginning where if you left an app open and turned off the TV, the next morning the app was froze and could not open any apps. Reset the TV and haven't had the issue since. As far as other features and how we use the TV, it has been great for us and satisfied with the purchase.

    For the size.you cant beat the price. Its above average for video games as far as the response rate compared to higher end TVs. And the hdr is great for movies and streaming....but regular TV whether cable or dish...that's were you will see difference between this TV and a higher end.

    So up until recently this TV is awesome. I also go for Samsung because they last a long time, and I know the product is usually going to be good. Recently theres a glitch on my TV where colored vertical lines cover the entire screen in a flash. I thought it was my xbox, then the internet, but its the tv itself.

    This is by no means a high end tv but it works great for everyday viewing. The colors are vivid and the "smart" features are nice. I don't have to hook up any additional devices for Netflix or Hulu. I find that the user menu is a little slow. 4 stars because I would like a faster refresh rate but I get what I pay for.

    So far everything about the TV has been exactly what I expected with one exception. It doesn't have a Crunchyroll app. Other than that the TV is perfect. Great picture, the menus are simple and intuitive, and setup was easy. I would have given five stars if it wasn't for the Crunchyroll app being missing.

    I love my new 65 inches Samsung TV. The colors was natural. I can see the actors face very clear without any filter. The only troubles that I experienced was the optical audio. I can't figure out why the sound won't transfer into my speaker using optical audio. Aside from that I think my money was worth it

    The TV came packaged very well and was easy to assemble. The picture is pretty good for the price. The Samsung smart tv is pretty slow when trying to change apps or anything related to that. I have had other Samsung tv's with the same problem so its not just this one. Overall its a great tv for the low price.

    Was looking for a large screen 4k uhd for my family room. The 65 inch model fit perfectly and is large enough to satisfy our needs. Downsides are only 2 hdmi outputs and no bluetooth, but great for the price. Super picture and pretty good sound through the tv.

    This tv is perfect for the price, it has good image and sound quality. I really like the design, it looks amazing on my tv stand. The reason why I put 4 stars is because I can't use Alexa or Google Assistant to turn the tv on, the internet disconnects after turning the tv off.
