Good Choice
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have owned this tv several months now and have several other "top" brands to compare it to. First the good: Fantastic amazing picture. Easy to use clean remote. One connect box is really a big plus. Set up was easy. Love the smart connect to my cell phones. Did I mention great picture? Brightest by far of any tv I have owned and to me this is a big deal. Side by side with another top name OLED display this picture is in another category of great. There are a couple things I dislike but have accepted: No PIP I don't understand this, almost unacceptable. Remote has been quirky with voice commands. Sometimes it works most of the time it says uavailable. This one is the MOST aggravating...HDR must be selected through expert settings and can not be changed through basic screen quick select like the other picture options. Very inconvenient to have to constantly scroll to expert settings to activate HDR when 4k content is being played (Netflix? ); if this was fixed I would overlook easily the other two complaints of mine. Again...AMAZING picture. You will not be disappointed.

Great picture quality TV

The streaming services are quick to respond, no lag. The picture quality is clear and crisp. The sound is good but we have it connected to the Sonos surround sound.

Great TV, remote needs work
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought myself a Q7 for Christmas, and the picture is great. I was considering an OLED TV but I REALLY wanted to get rid of any visible wires. The OneConnect Box and the Samsung flush wall mount tipped the scales toward the Q7. The picture is terrific, but the remote could use a lot of work. They have eliminated a lot of the buttons, so you need to memorize a sequence of buttons to fast forward, to find various shows, and I still can't discover if you can "page down/up" when searching the guide. Samsung should really invest in making their remote more flexible. That said, I'd still buy the TV because the OneConnect box is great.

At first I wasn't sure but it takes time to learn just what this tv can do. This is my third Samsung and the best. I was going to buy the LG oled but so glad I bought this. Just buy it!

Solid TV but reported issues are still there
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent picture quality! Standard sound setting is bad but the enhanced one is pretty good. I really like the color balance when selecting Game mode! The bad, and I mean really bad is that the TV turn on/off by itself!!! Geek squad had to switch the one connect box and install a new motherboard (my new TV is now basically a refurbished product). After the changes, the TV has worked ok for two weeks, but it makes you wonder if it will fail in the future. After searching for this problem, other reviewers report the same. Samsung 2019 TV line up do not have one connect box. Makes you wonder if they got rid of the box because they could not fix the problem.

Local Dimming FAIL

I really wanted to love it but if you watch anything with subtitles the local dimming tech (edge lit) is really bad and very distracting. If your watching a dark scene and subtitles come on the brightness of the entire TV will change with the subtitles. Look for a TV with 'Full Array Local Dimming' or better yet an OLED. I returned this TV for the LG B8 65" and it's well worth the extra money. The clarity and HDR are 50% better than what my QLED looked like and Dolby Vision shows on Netflix are stunning. The 'Ambient Mode' didn't work either. The App crashes upon start up.

Q7 Bluetooth issues right out of the box

Called Samsung and spent a weeks of them wanting send parts, then schedule a repair, then say they ant do the repair so I will be given an exchange... now to be told I will have to come out of pocket for my replacement since my TV is the QN65Q7FAMFXZA and was replaced by QN65Q7FNAFXZA. I’m not going to be forced to get a lower model TV or pay hundreds in the difference... not happening. All of this because a remote won’t pair to a TV. Ridiculous.

Samsung absolute worst customer service. Have been contacting them for 2 months and they will not refund or send a new TV. Don't waste your money or time on this product.

Disappointing first experience with this TV

I opted to move up to the Q7 vs the Q6 (current day equivalent to the KS8000) due to the One Connect box on this TV. However, the One Connect box arrived DOA. Buyer beware.
