Great picture, easy menus to navigate, some people may have issue with remote but once you learn it does all the things your cable remote does. Also have Samsung sound bar and would suggest running it thru HDMI cable, because on BT it cuts out every once and a while.

The picture on this TV is outstanding. I have never had a TV with such amazing color and picture. The black levels are so black that when the screen goes dark, there is no light, it actually seems like the TV is off. As with most TVs, the audio quality is just okay but, a TV that was meant to be our second TV has easily become the one we tune into more often than not. The one complaint that I have read in regards to “Ads” on the tv, is really not a fair shake. When you turn on the TV, it does have a row of recommendations you can watch but, I don’t see that as pressure or even anything bothersome, rather it’s more like...oh that’s available now. It goes away quick enough and, as far as I can tell you can’t turn it off. So if that would bother you, it’s something to take into consideration.

This TV has Amazing colors & bright & Vivid It took me some time to get the pic the way I want it & it looks a Amazing in Dynamic mode instead of movie mode plus it's calabriated & looks even better running through my OPPO UDP-203

Overall, this TV is amazing. It is able to take standard definition content from 720p and 1080p or 1080i and upscale to 4K, even in an HDR+ mode which the Q engine uses to get it close to HDR. The blacks are legitimate blacks with the brights being something you are not used to seeing on a TV. Tweak your settings out of the box, its colors are not accurate out of the box but they get closer when you switch to movie mode and start playing with the expert settings. It gets really close even without a white level calibration. There are youtube videos of accurate settings and websites with good settings. This TV is very good at handling reflections and its in a bright room with a bay window and 3 other windows, works and looks great even when the sun is setting in the windows. This TV has issues with the Full Array Local Dimming, Samsung is working on it and it is getting better. The TV also restarts randomly when playback stops on a movie and we switch back to live TV, in between TV shows and commercials going back and forth, usually when there seems to be a source change. Its close to OLED, not quite there yet but its the first LED set that I have owned that actually shows true blacks. Can't recommend it yet until they fix the FALD (Dimming) issues and the intermittent restarts. If you're worried about this TV not being bright enough, this TV actually makes my wife and kids squint at times and we're not even watching HDR content yet. Will update as new firmware comes out. 65 inch on 1057 after Factory Reset. If software issues were fixed, easy 5 stars, its a beautiful TV.

So I was not in the market for a new TV but we were waiting at Best buy for a product in the back and got to browsing. We have a year old Sony 65 that was top of the line at the time of purchase but I wasn't in love with it and got to thinking I could put the Sony in my man cave and put this bad boy in our living room. Man I am glad that I did. I can't believe how much better quality the picture is. The blacks are amazing... something I was underwhelmed with on the Sony. And no black/gray fade. The picture is true! I absolutely love it!

Our Samsung - 65" Class - LED - Q8 TV wonderful picture, colors are vibrant, easy to use, Awesome and happy with this product.

From the very first time we watched a show on this television, I was stunned by the picture quality. The hype is not hype - it is fact. You can tell the shading differences of the blacks. The colors are unbelievable. For shows that are not broadcast in 4K, the colors and the clarity of the picture are far better than earlier models. I would highly recommend this TV

I originally purchased the Q8 but returned it for the Q9. One of my biggest reasons for that was because I hate TV stand. It has legs on both sides of the TV and it wouldn't even fit on my stand. The Q9's stand is in the middle which is great. The Q8 looked amazing and the Q9 looks even better especially in dark scenes. Better blacks and less haloing due to double the number of local dimming zones. Samsung really knocked it out of the park with their Qleds for 2018. They are the best TV's gamers can get especially for PC and Xbox One. Their lineup this year has HDMI 2.1 features which no other TV has and we won't see that until maybe next year. One of those features is VRR/Freesync which matches the frames from your PC or Xbox One to your Qled which gives you a very smooth, fluid, and stutter free gaming experience. Sadly PS4 does not have this feature.

Such great color! No glare! Best picture around! Would buy again over and over

Really like this tv for gaming. if I turn my PS4 on when the tv is off it will automatically come on the gaming channel without me having to select it. When i finish gaming it switches automatically back to the TV. It worked with the x1 remote right away. The picture is excellent and setup out of the box was a breeze. They even have two very sturdy side panels to allow you to place the tv then you finally remove the panels and you are ready to go

So far I am loving everything about this t.v...... except it trouble connecting to my a.v. reciever. Samsungs qleds dont allow for Dolby atmos passthrough for the most part. It tries, but just sounds like a mess with sound cutting out. The a.v. reciever does connect and will play Dolby digital when it doesnt forget the device plugged into the arc hdmi 4 port. Otherwise the picture is great and the black levels aren't exactly oled good, but they are the next best. Also if you have the same issue where the TV doesnt recognize your sound system. Unplug the t.v. and reciever from the outlet for 10 minutes and it should reset and find it again

After watching the LG Qled for a couple of years and waiting for a price drop I compared the 2018 models, esp the Samsung Qled and found that both have their qualities +s and -s, I decided on the Lg Qled 8. It mimics the light of the eye by blackening out the surround of the image. After tweaking I find the picture quality to be outstanding! Especially HDR Movies! Ps always get a warranty! It factored in the price!

Love this TV. My only real complaint is the fact that when I first got it the phone app did not work well with it. I find it a bit clunky to use with the TV and the remote though decent is hard to input information but you're going to find that on any of these type of TVs and remotes. I bought it for the picture quality and there are completely excels no complaints whatsoever from that standpoint.

Bought this TV just before Christmas, and we love it! It was easy to set up and mount on the wall. The picture is clear, crisp and wonderful. The speakers are ok. We were talked into buying a sound bar by the BB rep. The sound bar and sub definitely sound better than the speakers on the TV itself, but if we hadn't have bought the sound bar already, we probably wouldn't go back there to get it.

This TV has been so great, the visual quality, the ease of use. I could not be more happy with the purchase. I also have all my gaming systems hooked up and the TV instantly recognized all of them and automatically turns on game mode. It's an overall great set if you're looking for a good do it all living room TV. The Qled technology makes the picture beat so many others out there.

Perfectly wonderful TV. The color is vibrant with a sharp picture. The sound is great even without a sound bar. I have placed this TV in a 4 seasons room with lots of daytime light, and the picture is not diminished. At night the picture is also nice and sharp.

Very happy with picture and features this Samsung has, and offers! Apps work well and built in smart things app and the steam app are great! Happy with this purchase and would highly recommend! AV and sound tech for 20 plus years working with everything from transmission services to equipment set-up for end users. Samsung TV’s are my go-to for longevity and quality.

I was originally waffling between a QLED and an OLED TV primarily for gaming and for a 4K upgrade. I own an Xbox One X and was having a hard time deciding, both have their pros and cons, but after doing research and talking it over with several people over several months I finally got my hands on this one. And it has been an epic experience. I would choose this TV again not only for the price but the picture, features and overall performance is amazing. As one who was set on getting an OLED but worried about how expensive they are along with burn in and refresh rates with gaming, I’ll just say this; get a QLED you won’t regret it.
