I had replaced my Sony X950G with this tv. The Sony is brighter, and does well, but this Samsung is a better fit for me. The more I use it the better the picture gets. I’m a bit old school and miss the 2 to 3d conversion and there use to be a picture calibration that was very good. It showed two pictures side by side and you could choose which one you liked and the tv would calibrate to your choices. It’s because of these two things missing I can’t give all stars.

We purchased a competitor TV about 3 months ago. Our first smart TV. We hated it so much. Complete waste of money. Gave to our daughter and bought the Samsung Q8F series and we love it. The picture is so vivid. The contrast when watching a show that is supposed to be set at night is amazing. You cant go wrong with this TV.

This TV is out of this world. Love the user interface and the picture is INCREDIBLE in my bright sunny living room!! Great for gaming and everything just works!! The best TV I’ve ever owned. I replaced this with another Samsung and the level of color and vivid blacks are worth the price!

I done alot of research on TVs and the Samsung QLED is just about perfect and I personally think its better than the OLED & no chance of burn in. I looked at the Q7 & Q8 and the Q8 was the better choice, so I brought it home. Yes it cost more but it is worth the extra features. I highly recommend the 65".

This TV has best picture of any set I've seen, only rivalled by LG OLED, but this TV is set up to my PC, OLED would've had burn in from my task bar or Chrome tabs by now, which is why i went with QLED. The menu's can be tricky to figure out and had to go through 3 menues just to turn on UHD and HDR to one of my HDMI outputs, but it was worth it, best screen at the moment.

Was really looking for an OLED, but knowing that my living room gets too much sun (glare), I instead went with this QLED. I’m very happy. The colors are vibrant and no glare to distract the movie/tv watching experience. Watching 4K is amazing.

This television has been everything it has been advertised as. Deep dark blacks and brilliant vivid colors. The fast QLED processor puts it in a league of it's own. The remote is exceptionally easy to use and it can control all of my other accessories (BluRay, soundbar, cable box, etc.) I love it.

Went looking for a different Samsung model at one store. Was told no one in a 50 mile radius carried it. Called other stores myself and low and behold, the sales guy was lying. Went to a different store that had the television I originally wanted and saw this Q8 on a beautiful display. Watching the 4K movies on this TV is amazing. I feel like comparing the colors you see to the crayola crayons is an accurate description. You can see the blacks are black, so many variations of blues, reds, greens. There was an issue with the TV not being able to handle the back lighting but it seems like the newest update has fixed that since the TV hasn't shut off and turned back on since. Easy to set up. Easy to unbox. Was delivered 5 days after ordering it. Can sit anywhere in the living room and get the same picture quality.

The backlighting is so bright it's blinding, which is awesome for HDR content. Amazing picture quality and doesn't degrade as much as I thought when viewing off axis. Not as good as an oled in picture quality, though very close. Very excellent in bright sunny rooms, which oleds aren't

So gorgeous. I've never seen the color red so brilliant and so well-defined. At my advanced age, it is a welcome luxury, especially since we are limited physically. The Blue Planet was never as blue, or as enchanting, and when the blood runs on American Horror, you can't watch, and you can't look away. Full array backlighting in the Q8 series makes a huge difference. It is well worth the extra $$ we paid, though i did wait months for this to finally come on sale. See CNET review.

Absolutely Love this TV. Replaced an older LG 60" plasma tv that didn't have any problems, however wanted to upgrade to the 4k platform, and for the gaming I do, i wanted a very Vibrant TV. AND THIS HITS THE MARK!

A wonderful TV aesthetically and picture quality. Once calibrated the TV just makes you smile with the color pops and amazing brightness. The 4K is mesmerizing at times. The only problem lies with the fact that dirty screen effect is very obvious here in bright white scenes. Personally I can deal with it but that's the thing, you should'nt have to. Overall very pleased to have this in my living room.

This is my second Samsung smart TV in the last six months. Easy hookup and setup. Great picture. Just starting to explore all the TV's capabilities. What was a no brainer was the 24 months same as cash financing....You can't go wrong...only glitch I had was the store doesn't stock these TV's anymore. I had to wait a week or so for it to come in. When it did come in I got an e-mail reminder on that day (Friday) and the following Monday that my TV was in and I had three days left to pick it up or they were sending it back. It sounded like.."Hey...your TV is in..come and get it or were sending it back...we don't need to sell $3000.00 TV's that bad. Came off a little callous...not the usual good customer service I 'm used to from Best Buy...

I've enjoyed the overall product experience. I'm not the most technically savvy, but the setup and use has been easy. The picture quality is excellent, and I coupled the TV with a new Bose sound bar that makes the overall viewing experience superb.

Put it in my living room and at 65" it's the perfect size for my room. The picture is absolutely amazing and being a smart TV makes it really easy to watch all my favorite shows and sports. Only problem is, it needs a pretty big TV stand

Picture is really clear & the different shades of black allow me to actually see things when the movie or TV show is showing night of a darker scene. On my old TV all you saw was a black screen! Yes it is expensive but worth it!

After living with a 46 inch as the largest TV in my home for many years, it was time for an upgrade. I wanted a bigger screen with the best picture quality I could afford. I was originally leaning toward LG's C8 TV which is OLED. That had an amazing picture quality but has burn-in risk. I use subtitles / closed captioning all the time and didn't want to deal with it. I then looked at Sony 900XF which was great but wanted something closer to OLED without burn-in. So QLED series is what I went with. I got a 65 inch Q8FN and it has been amazing so far. I watched Force Awakens on Blu-Ray and have been streaming from Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Xfinity (Samsung allows using the Xfinity app so no box required). Picture quality from all sources have been great after making manual adjustments. QLED is a winner.

Looked at both OLED from other vendors and the QLED from Samsung. Since we watch a lot of ESPN and Tennis channel we concerned with burn-in issues with OLED and went with the Q8f QLED from samsung. Great picture very satisfied with choice

Samsung TV's is what we have bought for our last three TV's. They are great tv's with easy to use menu's. Wonderful picture with minimal motion blur on sports but can be toned down to almost none in the settings.
