Had been looking for sometime at this TV and a comparable Sony. Both are impressive TVs. Sony tends to be just a little darker in their picture. They say that is more like natural, but I like a lighter picture so I can see in the dark corners of the picture. That is the main reason for the Samsung. Sony may have a little better sound from their speakers, but my hearing is not that great. The Q8F series is great. Just now getting to know all of its functions. I use Direct TV and the pictures are really good. Of course Netflix, Amazon prime, HBO Go and Showtime 4K is really good also. This TV is worth the money in my opinion.

love samsung they are the best at tv i use to be a sony guy but for the past 6-7 years samsung has been unbeatable picture is amazing colors are fantastic excellent tv

Outstanding picture quality. Sophisticated unit...recommend to get the available help to install and set up. Expensive but a great television. We love it.

Impressed with the Deep Blacks. Color saturation is excellent and Picture quality is consistent no degradation despite being a 65 inch TV. Great job Samsung.

This tv is amazing. It makes all content better looking (4K or not). I cannot lie though sometimes it may actually be to bright. We have it in our living room with a big bay window so during the day it’s awesome and suprisingly has minimal glare. At night with the lights off it, it’s breath taking but we do catch ourselves squinting our eyes at intensely lit scenes. Whether that’s a pro or con - that’s up to you and your preferences. We did tweak the settings to dim it a tad. For 4K movies and the Xbox X - it’s hard to beat the picture quality

After reviewing a lot of tv's I decided on the Samsung. Great picture and the smart tv part works very well. Would recommend it to anyone.

The color of this tv is exceptional. The hue, saturation, basic color fidelity is much better than I thought it would be. Contrast is good too.

We are very happy with our new TV. The quality of the picture wonderful. The colors are bright and bold. All our TV's are Samsung.

This TV is really nice for the price point. Great picture, easy to use OS and easy to add devices to. The only issue I’ve had is a brief one with the “home bar” disappearing. Called support and they fixed it right away. Recommended!

I’m amazed by the quality of this tv. Very bright but the beautiful colors give it an amazing balance, even my local programming looks true to life. The smart TV platform is smooth and easy to use. I downloaded the SmartThings app to be able to use my phone as a remote for this tv. Design is a little heavy but it’s understandable for a full array tv, do yourself a favor and get the 4k subscription on Netflix and amaze yourself!

LOVE this TV. Looks great over the fireplace mantle. The picture is incredible, even the very dark night scenes, the dark colors just pop.

Excellent picture, colors are awesome. QLED TV is the way to go.

I have been a Samsung Fan for years and this is the best TV yet for us, great picture and the built in apps make it easy to use

I couldn’t be happier with my Q8F! I love everything about it. My only small complaint is that the remote is RF and it does not Integrate with my IR soundbar that I also bought. A IR Samsung remote is reportedly available that will accomplish that, but then you lose the voice control of the Samsung, so it still is a two remote TV. Outside of that, the TV is awesome and it is being used in a streaming-only scenario.

This is hands down the most beautiful tv I have ever owned. Sometimes I wonder if it’s too bright. Don’t buy the Q6 or Q7, as they only have the lighting around the edges, where as the Q8 and Q9 are full array backlighting. Not discernable difference between the Q8 or Q9, besides the major price difference. BUY THIS TV, you will NOT be disappointed. BB price matched this TV for me at $2,099....amazing deal!
