    Faulty Motherboard, unreliable response from Samsu

    Do not buy this product. Nothing but trouble since I got it. Bought on sale in 2019 Installed it in April 2020 and by November 2020 the mother board had gone bad. Samsung won't stand behind it and wants to charge for mother board since just out of 12 month purchase date warranty even though not installed until April. Regardless, the board shouldn't have gone bad with only limited use for 7 months.

    Stopped working after 6 months

    The TV stopped working after 6 months. I've spoken with both Best Buy's Geek Squad and Samsung. Making progress towards getting this fixed has been difficult with both. After half a dozen calls and a few minor troubleshooting steps, both recommended an in-home visit. Since it's well under a year old, it should still be under warranty. At the time of purchase, Best Buy recommended that I also purchase their Total Tech Support. I scheduled a visit with them as they recommended. Then they sent a surprise bill for $200. I'm not sure what purchasing Total Tech Support has provided thus far. No one has even looked at the TV yet. Geek Squad has now recommended that I contact the store directly. I hope that this can be resolved relatively quickly at a reasonable cost, otherwise this TV amounts to a significant waste of money.

    I love my new Samsung Frame TV. At first, I wasn’t that excited about getting a new TV but my husband has been eyeing this TV for a year or so now and now, I see why. First, the TV is such a great addition to my décor. I love that the TV actually turns into artwork. Instead of having the plain old black screen hanging on the wall, you now have a beautiful piece of artwork instead. I just love it! If I ever decide to change my décor, guess what, my artwork can be changed to match it. :0) I think that is so cool! My husband hired someone to hang it and it seemed to be a breeze. The set-up and connections was a breeze with the one connect box and the TV is so flat to the wall, which helps with the enhancement of wall art. The quality of the TV is crystal clear. The HDR10, HDR10+, and HLG HDR formatting helps you achieve those bright vibrant colors. I have also noticed when my husband is watching sports, that the 240 Motion Rate tech digitally enhances fast-moving objects to reduce any blurring. It also works with Bixby, Google, Alexa, and Apple devices, which is also helpful. There are also some cool features like, the TV updates automatically, Samsung has its own channel lineup, and when connected with my 5G, it’s blazing-fast and Free. Overall, I just love this TV and I couldn’t be happier! “I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest feedback”.

    Lasted 6 Days, Wasted over $1,000

    Do not buy any Frame TV from Samsung. Had ours up for 6 days and it went black. Talked with customer support for to arrange and exchange. Have been waiting for nearly a month. Was called by trucking company today that they would not be able to make the scheduled appointment. Could not get an answer from customer support or Exchange and Refund team. The only answer i was able to get was to wait on the trucking company. Spent over $1,000 for additional holes in my wall and a pointless black frame with wires.

    Included Art Pieces Reduced to 20

    We purchased the Frame TV primarily to enjoy the Art Mode feature. Unfortunately after installation we found that Samsung reduced the Art that comes with the TV to 20 pieces instead of the 100 it previously came with. Yes, you can still subscribe to a library of Art for $5 a month and/ or buy individual pieces for $20 each. Another problem we’ve had is the smartview app is required to adjust the brightness of the TV in Art mode, but the app doesn’t work. We contacted Samsung for support but they don’t support the app.

      Please know that 2019 Frame 3.0 TV uses the SmartThings app, and not Smart View.
      You can change the brightness and color either via the app or via your remote control.
      If you would like to use the remote control, press the “Color button”, and wait for the buttons to appear on the screen. Then adjust the color to your preference with the arrow buttons.
      Or go to Art Mode, and the Settings(at the bottom). Then you could access to menu to brightness and color.
