They also appreciate the easy setup process and the great price point for a QLED TV. First off they downgraded this to 60hz refresh rate but they try and put up the motion rate 120 gimmick which you’ll never use anyway. Literally every other 4K TV has 120hz refresh rate pretty much.. it’s terrible for sports.. I also tried to watch Avengers End Game and every fight scene the picture just drags across the screen and it’s a complete blur. I’m pretty good with Tech stuff but was way behind on TVs and had a 2010 Samsung plasma that looked better in my opinion overall. You’ll have to switch picture modes depending if your watching movies, sports or the news. Colors are Great, and the setup and layout of the smart TV stuff and remote was easy to use. If you like to watch anything with fast motion do not buy this TV. If your all about color and like the still images then I guess this would be ok? But you could literally pay $400 less and get basically the same thing. This is just your entry level QLED and your not getting anything to special other then vibrant color. You mine as well start with the Q70T and work your way up because this TV just isn’t worth it at all. Even expert ratings have it as below average. I went back to Best Buy and met a great salesman that taught me a little more and actually spent the time to show me some better TVs in the viewing area and put on all different types of movies and sports. I’m returning this and getting the Sony 65” X900H because I literally can’t even watch football on this because it’s all just a blur and you can see the picture fighting to keep up. Still love Samsung products but I wish I had done more research before buying the downgraded version of the Q60R from last year...

    Exceeded My Expectations

The QN65 had fantastic image quality as would be expected of any TV but Samsung was really able to pack a lot of premium features into this set and the colors really popped alongside deep blacks which was all the more immersive watching movies on. I was curious to see if a QLED display would hold up and I can definitely say it's a perfect blend of affordability and quality. I've never owned cable as streaming was the default for me and I think it's an area Samsung has focused on here. I can stream from every service I could imagine and from my phone! That was a nice surprise that i never thought I would be able to get right out of the box but with Airplay built in I didn't need to buy any other receiver! Disclaimer: I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest feedback.

    Connectivity issues

Works great when it wants to work. Had connectivity issues almost right off the bat(2020)If i turned the tv off with the remote, let it sit longer than 10min, then tirn it back on it would automatically format the tv. After a fee weeks it atopped doing that. THEN, the tv would lose connection from wifi and not be able to find ANY networks at all. Geekswuad came out and said it was a motherboard isue and would need to replace it. The day before they came to replace, everything started working normal again. It would be good for almost a year and now(2023) we’re having the same issues again. Nothing wrong with my wifi but this tv may work best wired directly to the router. Definitely not buying a samsung tv again.

    It's Was IN STOCK...

I bought this in a Best Buy store. I did not want to go through a website site unseen and have to deal with returning it and have refused to support the big boy online companies. We actually picked out a different TV first, but it was not in stock. We drove an hour and we were getting something so we settled on this Samsung. It's a nice TV, but a seemingly budget TV. Sometimes the picture looks amazing and other times it seems to struggle mightily. For example when watching Avengers it taxed the TV too much and heavy action scenes looked blocky, but I don't think any TV in this range would fare much better. It's odd coming from an old 720 plasma TV to a 4k TV like this. The picture is much better but seems worse at times. I don't think I noticed the blurry/block motions on the old plasma. It's almost too real if that makes any sense and when it does struggle you really notice it whereas you were happily oblivious to it before. Also, our cable company is not the best either. Sometimes channels that were not the best HD quality really look sloppy whereas you didn't notice that before. Not the TVs fault per say. My biggest complaint is the ARC HDMI connection for the sound bar. It worked perfectly for a day and then all of the sudden the TV turned off by itself and when we turned it back on it wouldn't even acknowledge the soundbar any longer. I have to manually go into the settings and click off and on the anytime connect settings to get it to find it again, but that only lasts until you turn it off again. I have seen that this is not only a Samsung problem but a lot of TV brands. I have this mounted almost flush on the wall so the "fix" I have read of unplugging the TV and HDMI isn't a realistic option. So then I used bluetooth and thought that solved the problem, but that disconnects as well. That actually does bring up another annoyance, there are no visible HDMI connections on the outer TV. So if wall mounting you pretty much need one of those retractable wall mounts or it is impossible to connect anything after it's mounted without taking it down. I would have returned the TV and just waited for the one I actually wanted but don't want to mess with taking it off the wall and driving an hour.. So after weeks of research I ended up with my third place choice and a bit of regret.

No More Analog Headphone Jacks, and Bluetooth not

Love the TV, Looks Great. The Remote is a bit weak, as is the user manual . They took away the analog headphone jack. I Had a problem With the bluetooth not working as far as pairing devices, the remote worked, but; it would not pair any headphones or speakers. Very weird. Anyway not to worry I have the extra 2 year geek squad protection, right? In the store I was told geek squad would take ownership if something was needed. They did not. Instead they told me on the phone that I had to contact Samsung about the problem under the factory warranty if the product needed to be exchanged. So what is the point of buying the geek protections??? Anyway I ended up with a geek eval appointment and service call from samsung designated representative. Neither of which are communicating with me. I did finally get the set to pair some bluetooth devices, not all but some, by Interrupting the power to the set for 20 mins and turning it back on. I just wish the geek boys and samsung would answer the phone so I can cancel samsung call, which; says it may charge me? Anyway nice set, except for the bluetooth problems and a lack of analog headset jack for my rf headphones. Just terrible service from geeks and samsung.

    Too complicated to use

This TV has WAAAY too many options, but the remote has only 17 buttons to access them. Right now I can't get any channels other than 1000-1568. If you want to change the channel there are no number buttons on the remote to do so. You have to press a combination of buttons to get numbers to appear, then you have pick them individually. Our ISP has perhaps 200 channels and Samsung expects me to go through this arduous procedure every time I want to change a channel. The thing is so complicated that the installer could do not much more than turn the TV of. If you buy this TV, make sure the price includes detailed instructions on how to do even the simplest of things. All buttons on the remote are identified with symbols only, but three have writing: Netflix, Prime Video & Samsung TV Plus. I'm not sure about that because the font size is about 4-point, which is about impossible to read. Doesn't Samsung ever think about the actual user who has to use their products? Does not appear so.en they design this stuff? It does not appear that they do. Also, to gain access to even the smallest feature you need to subscribe to Samsung Plus, which means they distribute your contact information worldwide. So much for security.

    Can’t Recommend Samsung

Let me start by saying that while the tv was working, it is a nice tv. I’ve always held Samsung to a higher standard than most manufacturers, until now. After using this tv for about 2 months, the motherboard went out. Samsung proceeded to send me to a third party to diagnose the part needed (literally the only part in the tv aside from the screen itself) which took 3 days to get back to me. Then they sent the part to a local sub contractor to schedule a time to come and fix the tv. This whole process took 2 weeks. One month later, same problem. Only this time Samsung no longer had the parts or the tv to replace it, which neither them nor the third party company bothered to tell me while I waited 2 weeks to hear back from the local sub. Once I reached out to Samsung, they agreed to refund me the purchase price (Black Friday deal), which I’m currently still waiting for. They have to come and pick up the old tv, so I’ve had this non-working tv hanging on my wall for over 6 weeks now. I decided to purchase an LG tv instead, and the difference is staggering. LG makes a superior product! My kid uses it for gaming on our pc and it works amazingly. Just don’t go Samsung. They’re not what they used to be.
