What is best for movies, sports, morning news, and most importantly video games. I’ve been researching between brands, cost, quantity and performance. I’m impressed with the Samsung Q70A the picture quality, performance with games and easy selection of inputs .

It processes all commands quickly, you want for nothing, and I adore the UI (the Samsung TV UI is the most ascetically pleasing on the market, change my mind). Pairs extremely well with the Q series sound bar. The whole setup feels more high end than it is.

Honest Review - Short Term
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve read the reviews here and all seem to be a bit biased as most received the product at a discounted rate for their opinion. So on with the review. This review is based thus far on 24 hours of use. I will also compare to Sony X850D throughout as this TV replaces that. Will update as experience changes. First thing noticed is this TV is thin. This rivals OLED TV’s as it is very thin. Setup was a breeze due to the Tizen operating system, much easier and smoother than Android. Apps run smooth and there a ton of Apps available. The sound is surprisingly good on this TV. One complaint with the Sony is I always had a difficult time hearing it at night. I’m not experiencing that with this TV. Now the picture quality. I’m running Wired connection as opposed to WiFi to lessen connection issues. HD programming is good. Clean, even distribution of color, bright, and image pops. Viewing angle is rather poor even though this TV is advertised as having wide viewing angle technology. This is something I miss with the IPS panel of the Sony. HDR programming is disappointing, with ghosting and artifacts in dark scenes. This is something not experienced on the Sony X850D. I am still experimenting with picture settings, however thus far I have turned off contrast enhancer and turned off motion settings. There seems to be some uniformity issues with the panel as well. Hopefully I get these issues resolved via picture setting tweaks as I was very hopeful for this TV.

You can select the Picture Mode that provides the best viewing experience. Go to Home > Settings > Picture > Picture Mode
1) Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments.
2) Natural: Reduces eye strain for a comfortable viewing experience.
3) Movie: Is suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room.
4) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments.
5) Filmmaker Mode: You can watch the source content (e.g., movie) as it is. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it will automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching. Filmmaker Mode™ is a trademark of UHD Alliance, Inc.
You can also go to: Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > to manually fine tune your image.
