When I first turned on the TV and got a splash screen, the colors were beautiful and vibrant, and I’ve not been able to see those colors in action as of yet, and this is the only reason I’ve downgraded to a four-star instead of five. Easy to use, abundant apps & high quality picture.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung Q70A TV and for your review. We appreciate your feedback regarding the image quality of your new TV. If the picture you are seeing out-of-the-box are not to your liking, there are several picture settings you may want to try adjusting.
You can select the Picture Mode that provides the best viewing experience. Go to Home > Settings > Picture > Picture Mode
1) Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments.
2) Natural: Reduces eye strain for a comfortable viewing experience.
3) Movie: Is suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room.
4) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments.
5) Filmmaker Mode: You can watch the source content (e.g., movie) as it is. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it will automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.
You can also go to: Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > to manually fine tune your image.

We ended up purchasing a TV that was a step down from this one. But because our TV faces a very large window, the glare was terrible. We exchanged that TV for this model & couldn't be happier. This TV has the sharpest, full colored picture, along with a great speaker system. And, the anti glare screen works great across from our large window. We are super happy with this TV. The only thing I wish was different, is the remote. It is very small & I dislike the volume & channel buttons. Other than that, this TV is amazing.

The picture is beautiful, and even the sound is excellent - don't even need an additional sound bar. The size is perfect for us, and because of the center pedestal stand, it fits our coffee table which we are using as a tv stand.

Everything i wanted and Needed for A Living Room! Was looking at some of the Basic 70inch Tvs but decided I needed a better Picture quality! Comes in handy for NBA and movie Night!

Sound Quality is an average because it is too slim. I have sound-bar so I am not dependent on the TV speakers. If you have Samsung sound-bar, it would be the best combination and you can operate through the tv remote. I have Samsung sound-bar. I heard backlight issue but I did not experience about the backlight issue. I would definitely recommend Samsung QLED70A. Thanks !!

Best Buy delivers as always! Do miss some of the options to move the apps around and remove them if wanted. Also miss the curved experience with the Q7C 2017 models.

Best Buy techs do not fix TCL tvs, but can fix Samsung TV's. So far I am pleased with my purchase. Picture quality is excellent. No issues so far.
