Compatibility issue with Nintendo Switch

We connected the Nintendo Switch and it randomly disconnects and reconnects. Had no issues with our older Samsung the day before purchasing the new one. We tried all various settings, ports, and figured it only works when Switch is set at 720p. F you read the forums, it’s pretty much the case for most. Completely defeating the purpose of a high resolution fast device, quantum bla bla bla. We checked the forums and this has been ongoing by Samsung for two years. Contacted Samsung chat and the tech said it may be a compatibility issue. On the plus side, the 4K picture for movies looks great. Still upset since they are not resolving what should be a basic issue. Many report using a different brand dock works, idk. If that’s the case, SAMSUNG UPDATE YOUR SOFTWARE. If we get a new gaming console, maybe the upcoming 4K Nintendo Switch next year, then we will be stuck with expensive, yet useless technology. I will contact Samsung once more, but most likely we will return simply for ignoring a basic issue, not able to help, and not being upfront about a common issue. So, terrible gaming experience so far. I will update this if it gets resolved.

Thank you for your review of the Q70T TV. I am very sorry you are experiencing issues connecing with your Nintendo Switch. You may need to adjust the setting within your Switch. With your TV, you may want to try the following:
1. Enable Input Signal Plus option on the HDMI port where the Nintendo Switch is connected (Settings > General External device Manager > Input Signal Plus )
2. Change Game mode to On (Settings > General External device Manager >Game Mode Settings > Game Mode = On)
