Great picture quality but apps keep crashing

The picture and sounds quality are good but I wouldn't qualify this TV as "Smart." For the first 2 months, I had no issues using the Samsung SmartHub to open my apps (i.e. Netflix, Disney+, PrimeVideo ,etc...). Then one day, apps would close on it's own a few minutes into viewing. I went through all the troubleshooting steps such as rebooting TV ,reseting router, uninstalling/reinstalling apps, reseting TV to factory - nothing worked! TV is past the period to return, what else can I do? I miss the days of having a "dumb" TV where I can just turn it on and watch without issues.

Samsung software issues

The TV was installed quickly but the Best Buy team were here for hours trying to get everything to work. They claim it is a Samsung software problem.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung Q70T TV and for your review. I am very sorry you are experiencing issues connecting your AV receiver. First, you may want to update your TV to the latest firmware.
Using your TV's remote, navigate to Settings, and select Support. Select Software Update, and then select Update Now. New updates will be downloaded and installed on your TV. Updates usually take a few minutes; please do not turn off the TV until the update is complete. When the update is finished, the TV will restart automatically.
You may also want to enable automatic updates for future convenience.
Select Settings > Support > Software Update, then select Auto Update.
Connect the digital audio (optical) cable to the OPTICAL IN port on your soundbar, speaker, or surround sound system, and the other end into the DIGITAL AUDIO OUT port on the TV.
Alternatively, connect an HDMI cable into your audio device's ARC port. This is usually the HDMI OUT port, but check your device's user manual just in case. Connect the other end into the HDMI IN (ARC) on the TV. Using the remote, navigate to Settings. Then, select Sound and select Sound Output. From there, set the audio output for your TV.

We have always had Sony TVs but this one was on sale and sounded like a good deal. We liked the picture quality of the three year old Sony that was being replaced better than this set. Oh well, we tried but returned it two days later.
