Great tv good quality good for video games and cheap

Replacing a 10 year-old Samsung 51" plasma that stopped working one day all of a sudden. Great choice, and just fits in the space we have available. What a difference in the picture quality from the new QLED 4KUHD and the older plasma at 720p! Good price as well (at around $1,400.00 delivered). Check out the new QLED's at Best Buy!

Great picture and sound, have zero compliments besides the weight

This TV is exceptional for the Xbox Series X and the PS5. My primary use case of this TV was for current gen console gaming but I have watched a good bit of 4k streaming service content and have been super happy with the colors and visuals also. In dark scenes there is some haloing because it isn't microLED or OLED but it is almost unnoticeable unless you want to find it. Every image is smooth and I genuine am blown away by "Intelligent Mode" by Samsung. Just set it and forget it for crazy beautiful content enjoyment. Even Game Mode is automatic. If I had one complaint it would be that there isn't a source button on the remote. That's it, everything else is incredible on this TV. I recommend it for gamers but not for people who want the perfect darks; you need another TV for that. However, for the price and the capabilities no other TV is as good as this one for gaming and digital content consumption in its class.

Considered several options before getting the Samsung. Glad we decided to go with the QLED. Great picture, simple to use remote and the ‘smart’ function is easy to utilize. Even our older movies are more vibrant now. Geek squad did a great job on the install and explained how everything worked. Great choice, would do it again.

Picture quality is outstanding. Viewing angle is significantly improved over my old display. HDR content really shows off what this screen can do. Overall I like the remote control but wouldn’t mind if it had a dedicated source button for manually switching inputs. I couldn’t be happier with this unit, highly recommended!

The TV was installed by the Geek Squad. They knew their stuff, barely had to talk, just "got 'er done!" The 65" TV was way too large for me to install, but they had no issues. They were very helpful in training me how to operate the system. They were helpful even after they left! Previous to this TV, I had a 55" Samsung 4k. The 65" Q80a picture is a bit clearer and brighter. The Q80a sits in my well lit living room, it's picture is bright enough to go with my bright room. The blacks seem a bit gray when the room is dark at night; however, the picture continually "pops!" It is so bright! I did adjust the picture mode to "movie," this provided the best colors while making the picture the most realistic. The TV has a 60 watt amplifier, the volume is more than enough for my needs. Settings for an equalizer were grayed out and not adjustable. Plan on spending some time with the settings to understand what needs to be done for operation. I was able to tweak the settings to make the picture a bit better (in my opinion). I've now had this TV for a few weeks and really love it!

TV is crystal clear and the colors are very vibrant. I can use this as a 4K gaming monitor and it looks amazing. Be aware this TV should have 2 people handling it. It isn't the lightest TV (usually means good tech). I'll take features over being lightweight any day.

Get value as it was on sale and the picture quality is very good.

You know when you buy something with expectations? Well, this TV has exceeded mine. The picture is amazing and love watching it. Football is crazy bright and detailed. I would say that I need to figure out how to control my direct tv with the remote but other than that it’s incredible.

I’ve had this TV for about 3 weeks now and so far so good. Nice picture, though a little on the red side, which I’m sure is correctable if I took the time to make adjustments. I did a lot of research before buying and found this TV to offer the most features for the price.

I'm a fan of this TV. I bought it as an upgrade for the 4K content and the fact that my older Samsung 55" HDTV, no longer supported the HBO MAX app (some sort of software update to where I couldn't add it). Still, the 55" still works great and supports Prime Video and Netflix, so I'm happy with that and the TV got moved to the bedroom. The Q80A is wonderful. It has a bright, very detailed, smooth display. I'd recommend it to anyone. The only thing that I'm unhappy about it is that there's not even 4K content available. Still, this TV will be ready when more becomes available.

This tv is great. The picture quality is great! Apps pop up super fast and without lag (minus HBO BUT that’s a them issue). Super cool features. Would buy smaller version for other rooms. Solar or usb remote. It’s so real that for the first time my dogs have tried attacking the TV.

This TV is amazing! Beautiful picture quality! I enjoy the fact that I can control it with my Samsung phone and with Bixby Voice or Google Assistant. Especially since my kids lose the remote a lot. I also like the way it uses Doby Atmos with the sound bar I have with it.
