Purchased this TV for our RV. It's a perfect size. It's easy to use. The picture is clear and cridp.

The good: Delivered and installed by Geek Squad who were accomodating in every way, putting the Q80A together and placing it on my living room stand. One feature I liked was the base which allowed placement on most TV stands. In a well lit room and away from distracting reflections, picture and 4K resolution were fantastic. Works well with eARC to connect existing A/V Receivers and Soundbars, no sound delay when watching content with Dolby Atmos or DTS. LOVE the solar powered remote and works with external devices like Apple TV and most Blu Ray players! The Bad: Perhaps I fell prey to panel lottery, yet my Q80A had light bleed issues at the bottom of the screen. Tried tweaking brightness settings and picture presets to minimize the bleed, sadly the defect remained a distraction especially during dark scenes with widescreen movies and dark room viewing. I gave the Q80A a second chance with a replacement, unfortunately that too had light bleed at the bottom and upper left hand side. This defect combined with distracting blooming/halo effect from the Full Array Local Dimming feature (noticeble with dark room viewing) was unacceptable for the amount of money spent, even at a sale price. BB sales rep tried to tell me blooming and light bleed were normal and you had to buy the more expensive Samsung OLEDs for improved viewing. The Best Buy personnel who picked up my flatscreen for return balked at the sales rep’s opinion and agreed with me that no one should pay any price for display defects, period.

I really like the contrast and the detail of the picture. Some nice colors in movie mode was impressive.

Great color and picture. Easiest TV I have ever set up. I bought this for elderly inlaws, and we dreading the set up and explaining the UI. But to my surprise and relief, this was a piece of cake to set up, and the user interface is fairly straight forward and simple. I recently bought a couple of LG tv's, which in my opinion have a horrible UI for the average person. I was really glad I went with the Samsung for them.

Happy with picture and ease of use with the remote. This tv has darker tones than my last tv. Tv is in a well light room so was told this tv fits this type of room.

The picture is excellent, and colors are amazing. Very happy with Samsung TV so far.
