Great picture

QLED is perfect for this area. Even when it's sunny out, I can still see the picture well. I don't really have any negative reviews but only had it for about a week.

Samsung 65 inch Q80

I am so happy with this purchase. I also mounted it on a full motion TV mount. The picture is absolutely amazing and the sound upgrade from a Q70 was worth the price difference without a doubt. I could not be happier

Amazing HDR picture but the issue with this is that on the native TV apps that play in HDR there is always some white light bleeding towards the top. Does not happen when you boot up lets say Netflix from an external firestick but then it only plays in 4k. I researched online and Im not the only person that experiences this so I guess its something to do with the software. User firendly interface as well.

Samsung 65 inch Review

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.So many that gave 4 stars was because of what appears to be a rectangle shaped cloud like structure on the upper left of the screen when one is watching the TV in a dark room...and what ever show or movie is playing also is in night or dark scene...I had the same thing happen with my set yet didnt feel like it was enough to return the TV...as aside from that...the picture is gorgious...once you get the right screen settings figured out...which did take some time...all in all...couldn't be happier with the TV!

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung Q80A TV and for sharing details of your image quality. To ensure your picture is optimized, please be sure your firmware is up to date with version 1901.0 which includes picture quality updates. You can check this by going to: Settings > Support > Software Update.
If this firmware version is not yet available on your TV, you can download the update on a USB drive and manually update your TV:
1. On Samsung's website (upper right corner), go to: Support > Manuals & Software > Find your TV model.
2. Download the update and extract it to the root of a USB thumb drive. (Do not put it in any folders on the thumb drive.)
3. Connect the USB thumb drive to a USB port on your TV.
4. Navigate to Settings > Support > Software Update, select Update Now, and then select Yes.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the updated software.

Great but not Great

The only negative thing I would have to say about this tv and it's kind of a big one, is that we can't really use the internet browser. We go to enter a website for a site we use to watch movies, go to play a movie and after a few minutes, a error pops up and won't let us watch anything! Googled this issue and apparently Samsung is known for their internet browser issue. Not sure how to fix it and probably won't be buying another Samsung in the future even though all of my tvs have been Samsung's.

Thank you for choosing Samsung's Q80A QLED 4K TV and for sharing your experience with the Internet Browser. To ensure there are no possible network issues causing this, you may want to go through these steps to check your connection:
1) Make sure that no items that can generate electromagnetic interferences are placed between the TV and the wireless/wired access point.
2) If the wireless connection fails, connect the TV to the access point via a LAN cable. If the TV can connect to the Internet normally via the wired connection, there might be a problem with the access point. In this case, try using a different access point.
3) Perform a network test to check if there is a network problem. Press the Home button on your remote. Navigate to Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis> Smart Hub Connection Test
4) Please also be sure you have the latest firmware update. You may want to enable automatic updates for convenience. Select Settings > Support > Software Update, then select Auto Update.
When using the Internet Browser app, please keep in mind the following:
• File download is not supported.
• The Internet function may not be able to access certain websites, including websites operated by certain companies.
• The TV does not support playback of flash videos.
• E-commerce for online purchases is not supported.
• ActiveX is not supported.
• Loading a web page may be delayed or suspended completely depending on the status of the participating systems.
• Web browsing speed will differ with the network environment.
• Depending on the types of video/audio codecs supported, you may not be able to play certain HTML5 video and audio files.
• Video sources from PC-optimized streaming service providers may not play properly on our proprietary Internet browser.

Replacing a 4 yr old 65" Samsung LED that (not surprisingly) couldn't stand up to a 5 year old playing with a pretend sword. The only knock would be that I find the new menu layout a bit more confusing. I do like that it (the TV remote) can seamlessly control a nearly 20 year old Sony receiver though.

OMG great picture

I wasn’t ready to hear that cause of the price. Picture is amazing especially when you hook a PS5 to it unlocking the PS5s full potential. I plan to get the 70-75” for the basement once it’s done.
