    Admittedly, I don't know much about tv's and the difference between a $900 one and a $1800 one but I love my Q80A. When I'm in other homes, I more-so now see the difference in the richness and vibrancy of my television versus others. I typically make television purchases 2-3 years old but I'm glad I purchased this new, 2021 model.

    We love our new Samsung TV. We had it delivered to our summer home in Wells Maine. Our internet service here is Spectrum, & they are still not up with the current abilities of other beach towns. However the TV picture is crystal clear and sound is great. Do not need a sound bar. Thank you for an excellent delivery and service.

    Outstanding picture quality and dazzling color and clarity. I'm seeing shows that I have watched before and they seem like completely shows. It is a very immersive experience, even the quality of sound from the TV speakers is very good. This is the best bang for the buck for home entertainment, highly recommended.

    This Samsung unit is definitely worth the price the picture quality is the best out of all the Samsung tvs ive purchased in the past ive had friends and family that really love this tv for the vibrant and well balanced picture that it delivers. I would highly recommend this tv.

    I will admit that I was very skeptical about purchasing this TV because of the mixed reviews all over the web on the Samsung qleds and their performance versus other TVs. One of the items I remember seeing a lot of people complaining about was how it handles dark scenes. I have had this for 1 month now and i have yet to experience a scene so dark i literally couldnt make anything out. I will say that I always customize the settings right away and I don't use any type of default picture setting so maybe that is where the difference is? Other than that, it is a great TV and everything i was able to do the same things on this new TV as i was with my Samsung 55 inch UN55H6350 that was the one replaced. I will say that I do not see much if at all any difference between my old TV and this new TV and the actual picture. It really appears to look exactly the same. (The ONLY reason i purchased this TV was due to the motherboard being shot on my 55 inch UN55H6350 which is a shame as it was a good TV and not to mention that i spent about $500.00 less on that one come to find out the picture on these 2 TV'S are exactly the same).

    The Q80 is OK…I guess I expected a bit more magic. The TV that it replaced was not 4K and smaller, however I think the picture was better, on the old tv - as in sharper more detailed and it was 10 years old. I like the features, apps and the remote is decent. I just wanted to be blown away by the picture on a TV costing this much - my suspicion is that you could find a TV for half the cost with as good a picture.

    We upgraded to this TV, and we are pleased for the most part. We use the apps installed on the tv to stream channels (disconnected ROKU to eliminate extra cords). Most streaming apps can be downloaded that aren't pre-installed, but not all. We find that every now and then, the streaming apps quit, so we have to unplug and plug back in again. Other than that, the picture is great, sound is good, and are happy with our purchase.

      Thank you for choosing the Q80A QLED TV and taking the time to share your experience with streaming apps. If your app is freezing, not loading, or crashing, you can try cold booting your TV by holding down the power button on your remote for 5+ sec until the TV turns off and on again, deleting and downloading the apps again, and completing full reset of Smart Hub to correct the issue.

      Please also check that your TV is running the latest firmware version. Go to: Settings > Support > Software Update.

    Love the picture. Love the sound. This TV is a major improvement from my old 65 inch Samsung TV. The sound is much easier for me to understand on the new TV. The Samsung sound bar that I bought to go with the old TV didn’t ever work very well with it but it works perfectly now with my new Samsung

    Chris and Justin were the perfect example of two great Best Buy associates. They spend time to explain the features of the tv, the sound bar and helped figure out how to get the channels.     The most apparent feature of the QLED is its breath taking contrast of shades: deep dark blacks to brilliant whites. The sound quality is surprisingly superior to any of the other Samsung versions we've owned. The base quality is amazing even without a sub. This TV gives a whole new dimension to movie enjoyment.

    I bought this tv back in Sept. and have loved since the momwnt I got the settings how i liked them! Tbis was an upgrade from a 2017 Q7, thats now in the bedroom but couldnt pass up the deal to upgrade. What a difference 4 years of tech can make! Detail is even more amazing in this newer model!

    We bought this for my daughters new home. She loves it. The picture quality is amazing! Better then we expected and the price cannot be beat. Thank you Best Buy for the help getting it up three flights of steps, and all the recommendations from the salesman.

    I’m overall pleased with my purchase. The picture quality, for the most part is fantastic. With that said, I do have a few issues with the TV. The issues deal with temporary times that I experience a blurry picture. When pausing a program and restarting the program, the TV is blurry for about 10 seconds. Same goes for when you fast forward a recording or TV show, then hit play it is blurry for a few seconds.

    So far so good, although some channels seem to have skin tones looking a little reddish but that might be something I can adjust manually and I just haven’t had the time to look deeper. Otherwise television is another great Samsung addition, very streamlined and sexy plus the remote is solar powered so you never have to worry about batteries again just keep in mind that you need to flip remote so it will remain charged.

To optimize your picture quality, please be sure your firmware is up to date with version 1805.4 which includes picture quality updates. You can check this by going to: Settings > Support > Software Update.

      Additionally, your TV has several Picture Modes to choose from allowing you to enjoy content in optimal conditions. Go to Home > Settings > Picture > Picture Mode
      1) Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments.
      2) Natural: Reduces eye strain for a comfortable viewing experience.
      3) Movie: Is suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room.
      4) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments.
      5) Filmmaker Mode: You can watch the source content (e.g., movie) as it is. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it will automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.

      You may also want to try adjusting additional picture settings if the picture you are seeing is not to your liking.

      You can go to: Settings > Picture > Expert Settings and configure the TV settings to your taste with functions such as Brightness, Contrast, Sharpness, Color, Tint (G/R), Picture Clarity Settings, Local Dimming, Contrast Enhancer, and many more.

    Purchased for living space and the picture is outstanding. One problem that keeps recurring - even after a Geek Squad visit to correct it. Hooked up to a Samsung sound bar; but 50% of the time, the audio defaults to TV Speaker. It’s frustrating to have to repeatedly go back to settings and select the Sound Bar. Did not get an explanation as to whether it’s a problem with the TV, Soundbar or Samsung.

Please be sure your firmware is up to date with version 1903.0 which includes input device performance updates. You can check this by going to: Settings > Support > Software Update.

      If this firmware version is not yet available on your TV, you can download the update on a USB drive and manually update your TV:
      1. On Samsung's website (upper right corner), go to: Support > Manuals & Software > Find your TV model.
      2. Download the update and extract it to the root of a USB thumb drive. (Do not put it in any folders on the thumb drive.)
      3. Connect the USB thumb drive to a USB port on your TV.
      4. Navigate to Settings > Support > Software Update, select Update Now, and then select Yes.
      5. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the updated software.
