Additionally, the installation was professionally completed ! We purchased this because we were so pleased with the 55" that's a year old in our bedroom.

Good for people who want free cable and like ads

Its a great looking tv but it has the most annoying built in "Samsung Tv Plus" that will automatically start playing their channels if you leave the tv alone for a small certain amount of time. Or if you have a Xbox/Playstation and turn it off, the tv will again automatically play their tv service. And there is no way to disable it. They also have ads just on the main screen which is annoying. Again, it's a good tv otherwise for people who don't mind this but it would be nice if it said it anywhere before I bought it. The tv also would not turn on after 24 hours. We woke up the next morning and it just wouldn't turn on so I assume there was just a fault with the one I bought. Exchanged it for a LG CX OLED and it's much better for people who just want a normal tv that doesn't force you to use their programs.

Thank you for your review of Samsung's Q80A TV. Please this TV allows you to choose what it does when you turn it on. It sounds like you simply needed to adjust your TV's Autorun Smart Features, which would have allowed you to display the Home Screen, or automatically run the last app used when you turn on your TV.

Samsung QLED TV. Great picture with crisp color

We had some issues with it in the first week as it wouldn’t connect to our receiver. It also would drop to a black screen when we changed channels on our YouTube TV app. We returned to BestBuy to ask foe help and they immediately setup a swap for a new TV. The new o w works great and the previous issues are not issues with this unit.

The individual that set it up for us was fantastic. He was very patient and went over everything with the tv and remote. Very light weight tv and the picture is fantastic. We highly recommend this model tv. We are very pleased with this purchase.

Great tv

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded from 4 year old 55 inch Samsung mid range 4K hdtv The new Qled has a better picture quality and the colors are more vibrant sound is acceptable but the Bluetooth has a lot of background noise which I do not get when I move to my oled tv which is 2 years old.

Thank you for purchasing the Q80A TV and for your review. I am very sorry you are experiencing issues connecting devices using Bluetooth. When connecting via Bluetooth, there are a few things to keep in mind.
1) You can't use Bluetooth devices and the Wi-Fi Speaker Surround Setup feature simultaneously.
2) Compatibility issues may occur, depending on the Bluetooth device (A Mobile exclusive headphone may not be available, depending on the environment).
3) Lip-sync errors may occur.
4) The TV and Bluetooth device may disconnect, depending on the distance between them
5) A Bluetooth device may hum or malfunction: a) When a part of your body is in contact with the receiving/transmitting system of the Bluetooth device or the TV. b) When the device is subject to electrical variation from obstructions caused by a wall, corner, or office partitioning. c) When the device is exposed to electrical interference from same frequency-band devices including medical equipment, microwave ovens, and wireless LANs.

Not sure how to feel

I read this one had that. Went and saw one on display at besy buy and it looked to have a lot less glare than the other tvs. So we bought it. After getting it all setup we feel like we were duped. The glare is pretty bad on this tv still. Reflections dont look the same at home as they did in the store. I understand how store displays work and i looked at this screen from every angle and made sure i looked for store lights in the reflection. The reflections looked muffled and blurred which was great. The tv i got at home i can see reflections clear as a mirror so it defeats the purpose of why i bought this tv. On the flip side the sound on this tv is great. Best sound on a stock tv that i have heard. Don't need a soundbar with this one.

The room it is in has a lot of light and it is not a problem. The only downside is I am not crazy about the remote, it does take some getting use to. I'm getting better with using it.

We checked it out in the showroom and opted for this one because of the colors. Don't use it for gaming so it is everything we need for enjoyable television watching. The price was also very good.

Instant access to Netflix, Apple TV, Prime and Youtube. Built in speakers sound great. No need for a soundbar unless you want the bass effect. Very happy with my purchase so far.

It's a big tv, and it was expensive, but it's beautiful and of high quality. It was also on sale:. Ordered it, had it delivered, I set it up and it's great! Very bright, We have it in the living room and when the sun glares on it, you can see perfect even though it dosent have the anti glare coating it still is very good because of how bright it is and the resolution and frame rate is amazing

This Q80a didn't work for me since it didn't get bright enough during daytime hours. This size Q80a has an IPS TV panel which is great for wide angle viewing but doesn't get as bright as a VA TV panel. Great picture at night...not as good during daylight. I ended up returning it.

The Best Buy representative took a lot of time to answer my questions ensuring I bought the right set for our use. We also purchased a Samsung sound bar with subwoofer. Great sound.

But imagine our surprise when we were not told that the receiver used for our surround sound was not compatible with the new TV during the installation. This was due to the fact that the receiver did not support HDMI required by the TV. It was not until after the Geek boys left that I was able to determine that a $12 digital optical cable would allow the TV to work with out receiver. But everyone was very professional and did their jobs well. Only suggestion in regards to TVs. 1) The sales reps need to pay closer attention to customers setups and understand the limitations of the TVs output 2) The installation team needs to research digital optical cables so their customers do not end up throwing out valuable functioning equipment

Love It So Far!!

This replaced my 55" Sony. Both good tv's. I got an excellent deal on this set which is why I purchased it. Other than that it fit the bill.

Also bought the new Samsung 3.2 sound bar which is a great sound bar.

I’ve had it for about a month now and it has been working excellent and the picture and sound Are wonderful
