      To optimize the Smart TV performance, please try Device Care option under the Support Menu. Go to Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care

      This service checks memory and frees up unused cached memory and closes background apps.

      Please also be sure you are running the latest firmware. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Settings > Support > Software Update.

    Got it because the old tv had a reflector fall off. Faces 3 large windows in my living room and it's bright enough to be seen in the afternoon when the sun is coming in. Sound is fine but i use a soundbar instead. Would buy different sizes for other rooms when the tvs need upgraded.

    I don't know where to start: - Their technology is so outdated that if I try to listen to TV using my Bluetooth earphones it keeps hanging up because it conflicts with sound bar! I guess too complicated for Samsung engineers to figure this out! - Without a sound bar the TV speakers are so weak that you have to sit within 6 ft from TV to hear them! - I bought the sound bar for $250 and the voice quality was still bad. Apparently Samsung wants you to buy the latest $600 sound bar that goes specifically with their QLED TVs. - Samsung decided the TV's remote control should be charged by solar instead of batteries!! So they expect us to take the remote for a sun tan on our backyards everyday in order to be able to use it! Pure Genius! - Picture quality is good but I agree with other reviews that the picture is way too bright at night and has "light bleed" that I regret not buying an OLED TV instead.

      Hi Mario,

      Thank you for your review of Samsung's Q80A TV. We appreciate your feedback regarding your thoughts on the remote, as well as experience with Bluetooth connectivity. In addition to it's solar cell charging, please know your remote can be charged with indoor/ambient lighting, as well as with a USB-c cable.

      When connecting via Bluetooth, there are a few things to keep in mind.

      1) You can't use Bluetooth devices and the Wi-Fi Speaker Surround Setup feature simultaneously.
      2) Compatibility issues may occur, depending on the Bluetooth device (A Mobile exclusive headphone may not be available, depending on the environment).
      3) Lip-sync errors may occur.
      4) The TV and Bluetooth device may disconnect, depending on the distance between them

      Additionally, your TV features SpaceFit Sound to optimize sound tailored to your environment and Active Voice Amplifier (AVA) which further detects disturbances and enhances the on-screen voices for clear dialogue.

      Go to Home > Settings > General > Intelligent Mode Settings. Turn the options on or off to meet your needs:
      - Active Voice Amplifier is available only when the sound sensor of the TV is active and the sound output is set to TV Speaker, or a Samsung Soundbar interlinked with Adaptive Picture is connected.
      - Adaptive Sound+ provides optimized sound quality by analyzing the viewing space and the acoustic components of the content
      - Adaptive Volume Automatically adjusts to a specific volume level while you are watching TV.

      Several Sound Modes are likewise available to meet your personal preferences: Home > Settings > Sound > Sound Mode

      You can also customize sound with Expert Settings.
      Go to: Settings > Sound > Expert Settings

      If you are uncomfortable with the default brightness settings, you can customize the brightness level between 0 – 50 to your preference. Go to Home > Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Brightness.

      You can also try different Picture Modes to see which best fits your needs. Go to Home > Settings > Picture > Picture Mode for the below choices:
      1) Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments.
      2) Natural: Reduces eye strain for a comfortable viewing experience.
      3) Movie: Is suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room.
      4) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments.
      5) Filmmaker Mode: You can watch the source content (e.g., movie) as it is. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it will automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.

      Intelligent Mode also enables the TV to recognize and analyze the surroundings, noise, content, and your usage patterns to provide the best viewing experience. You can enable Intelligent Mode by going to Home > Settings > General > Intelligent Mode Settings. Adaptive Picture, which is among the options, optimizes brightness and provides the best picture quality in real time, based on the lighting condition and the content you're viewing.

      To ensure that your TV is optimized, please also be sure that you are always running the latest firmware update. You can check this by going to Settings > Support > Software Update or you can enable Auto Update for convenience.

    Great TV for a great price. I have no issues with the tv in the 1st month. The smart remote that comes with the tv works very nicely but can take a little bit to get used to; as some of the buttons for game consoles are not where you would expect. Overall a great tv.

    This was my first buy at Best Buy — Citrus Park! I had good fortune to interact with Mr. Owen who showed me all 65” TV brands and the rationale to pick one! We picked it up and drove home to install. It’s a GREAT TV for the money! No question!

    Love this TV and the stand. The salesperson did a fabulous job explaining all the details and giving us very valuable information. We are age 88 and 90 and the new technology is a great challenge for us, so his guidance was fabulous.

    My tv purchase went very good, Sales associate was very helpful, scheduled delivery which was on time. The two delivery guys were very good. I had them set up the tv, really appreciated how thorough and helpful they were. The tv is awesome. Look forward to future experiences.

    Initially I would have rated a 3 star because the salesperson misrepresented the installation charge even though I told him I had a Total Tech account. However the supervisor that I talked to a couple of days later corrected the issue and was very responsive.
