    Nice T.V. The only thing I don't think is up to par is the Stand. Seems a little unstable. T.V Moves from side to side

    Great TV base on the price. The sound quality could be better. I’m assuming these TVs, sound wise are much better when paired with a sound bar.

      Thank you for purchasing the Q80A TV and for sharing your feedback regarding the sound quality. Your new TV features SpaceFit Sound to optimize sound tailored to your environment and Active Voice Amplifier (AVA) which further detects disturbances and enhances the on-screen voices for clear dialogue.

      Go to Home > Settings > General > Intelligent Mode Settings. Turn the options on or off to meet your needs:
      - Active Voice Amplifier is available only when the sound sensor of the TV is active and the sound output is set to TV Speaker, or a Samsung Soundbar interlinked with Adaptive Picture is connected.
      - Adaptive Sound+ provides optimized sound quality by analyzing the viewing space and the acoustic components of the content
      - Adaptive Volume Automatically adjusts to a specific volume level while you are watching TV.

      Several Sound Modes are likewise available to meet your personal preferences: Home > Settings > Sound > Sound Mode

      You can also customize sound with Expert Settings.
      Go to: Settings > Sound > Expert Settings

      Another feature of your TV is OTS (Object Tracking Sound) which means that there are strategically placed dynamic speakers that track the action and move the sound around you.     New type of controller takes getting used to. Previous controllers had an input button but this one I had to search through the menu.

    Overall solid tv! Samsung needs to fix a glitch where the screen flashes/strobe lights the screen with the screen “LED Clear Motion” on. Otherwise amazing for gaming and movies!

    Had this tv for 2 years and a line of pixels went out from top to bottom about a 18' in from the left, if it gets refurbed and put up for sale on best buy's website, buyer beware!

    Doesnt connect well to wifi, we have to keep the ethernet plugged connected or the quality goes way down. Other than that, it is an overall nice TV

      Thank you for purchasing the Q80A TV and for sharing the details of your issue with Wi-Fi connectivity. A network issue may be the cause. You may want to go through these steps to check your network connection:

      1) Make sure that no items that can generate electromagnetic interferences are placed between the TV and the wireless/wired access point.

      2) Check if the access point is turned on. If it is on, turn it off, wait 1 or 2 minutes, and then turn it on. Enter the correct password if required.

      3) If the wireless connection fails, connect the TV to the access point via a LAN cable. If the TV can connect to the Internet normally via the wired connection, there might be a problem with the access point. In this case, try using a different access point.

      4) Perform a network test to check if there is a network problem. Press the Home button on your remote. Navigate to Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis> Smart Hub Connection Test

      5) Try a cold reboot of your TV by pressing and holding the power button for 5+ seconds until the TV turns off and on again.

      6) Please also be sure you have the latest firmware update. You may want to enable automatic updates for convenience. Select Settings > Support > Software Update, then select Auto Update.

    I'd give this tv a 5 no problem, but, the remote has it's problems. A replacement remote is around $130. I'd recommend this TV but only tell that the remote sucks.

    I am very pleased quth this Q80A TV. It replaced a Q7 model lost to fire damage. All the expert reviews are correct... sound and dark room viewing could be improved.
