    TV works well, great picture. I need to upgrade my Xfinity box so we have at least 4K access. My only complaint was with the installation. The Geek Squad guys were super nice, but could not find the "Quick Setup Guide" so they did the best they could, but the control box is sitting flat on the table and not on the back of the TV where it's supposed to be. Still need to figure out how to use everything...

    we love this tv picture unbelievable only thing is we need a manual and was hard to talk to samsung as thay want a serial number no way we can read ours of where it is so before they set it u read your serial number on back and write it down cause the factory will not help u if u do not have it. every samsung tv has its own serial number no one has it except u

    Incredible picture for a great price. Unfortunately, you will probably not be able to purchase it because I think I bought the last one in existence. The speakers are located on the back of the TV so you will want a sound bar to go with this TV. The One Connect box allows for a clean look and ability to use shorter HDMI 2.1 cables to connect your hardware devices.

    I had the 2020 model of this tv that started having issues and Samsung paid me more than I paid for it to upgrade to the 2021 model. I sure am glad I did. It was worth every penny more that I paid for the older model. Superior sound and picture to last model. Built better and now has the one connect. Thanks Samsung for taking care of me!

    The picture is simply gorgeous! 4k content is seamless and smooth. Playing on my ps5 is simply gorgeous. Plus matching it with my 11.1.4 Samsung Soundbar is truly a treat with q-symphony.

    Excellent product! The picture quality is stunning. It took two people to move and setup the tv. I decided to buy the corresponding speaker set too. Together, the sound and picture are top notch. Highly recommend.

    I had my eye on the QN800A for a long time and was biding my time, waiting for the price to come down. My current TV was a Samsung Series 8 1080p 3D TV that I bought in 2011. I paired that with a Yamaha RX-V777 receiver that drove my 5.1 sound system, complete with a 10-inch woofer. This system performed flawlessly over the years and made me an ardent fan of both Samsung and Yamaha. In order to get ready for the new Samsung 8K TV, I bought the Yamaha RX-A4A 8k receiver in mid December 2021 and quickly installed it on my current system, complete with 8K HDMI cable. I updated my Harmony 650 remote for the new receiver and everything worked great. Of course, my old Samsung Series 8 TV couldn’t take advantage of the higher resolution and other neat video capability that the RX-A4A produces, but I thought that, boy, the new TV (when I finally get it) should really be a smooth transition when I stick it in my system. Boy, was I WRONG! I bought the 65-inch QN800A 8K Samsung TV in early February 2022 and Best Buy delivered it shortly thereafter. They hung it up for me, turned it on, and set up the Samsung pairing remote to run both the TV and the receiver. I thought, boy, I don’t need my Harmony 650 anymore. Boy, was I WRONG! The day after it was installed, I turned on my equipment with the Samsung remote. TV came on, but receiver did not. I turned it on with the Yamaha controller. I tried to turn everything off with the Samsung remote and it worked. Turning everything on still did NOT work. Re-paired the Samsung remote. It worked for a day and then quit turning on the receiver again. Re-paired 2 more times, with same dismal results. Called Samsung and told the tech what I had done and asked him what to do. Person said to re-pair the remote. I sensed that this was going nowhere fast and ended the call. I looked at the Samsung user site, and people were having the same problem and the comments generally indicated that Samsung was not taking ownership of this problem. I asked the Best Buy Geek Squad what to do to fix the Samsung remote problem. The Best Buy rep told me to quit using it. I finally decided to rely only on my Harmony 650 to control my new system. Over time, additional firmware problems surfaced. My Yamaha receiver connects to the TV from its TV1 port via HDMI to the Samsung TV. Other Yamaha HDMI ports are used to connect signal generating devices that you want sent to the TV set. I used HDMI 5 for my ROKU, just like I did for my old 1080p Samsung (where everything worked perfectly!). I verified that my new Samsung TV was set up as follows; Sound output set to Receiver (HDMI) HDMI/eARC Mode set to off Digital Output Audio Format set to Pass-Through Anynet+ (HDMI-CRC is on RX-A4A Yamaha receiver is listed under “Smart Things” and is selected as “Source” Intelligent Mode is on Receiver was selected for sound output When I turned everything on, it worked…. for a while. Then after a few on/off cycles, I pointed my Harmony at the TV, everything turned on, the Yamaha showed sound coming from the ROKU ULTRA on HDMI5, and the sound was coming from the TV speakers! I rebooted the ROKU and the problem went away…for a while. Then one day there it was again. Took same corrective action, and the problem went away. Then one day I turned everything on and got a picture but no sound at all! Rebooted ROKU and problem went away…. for a while. I finally bought a new ROKU ULTRA complete with rechargeable remote, hoping that would fix the problem. Nope, problem still there. I checked for firmware updates from Samsung and Yamaha several times. Yamaha notified me twice via the receiver that I had updates waiting, so naturally I told it to apply them. Keeping that particular piece of hardware up to date was a breeze. I never once heard from Samsung that I had an update available. I checked their website and found nothing newer than the firmware that came with the TV when I bought it. I mentioned my problem to the Best Buy Geek squad and told them that my wonderful new 8K Samsung does not seem to want to play nice with my 8K Yamaha receiver. The Geek Squad agent said that particular TV model doesn’t play nice with any of the receivers that they sell. I feel Samsung really let me down and I will never again buy a TV from them or anything else, including SSD for my PC or any other of their consumer products. I bought a 4K Blu-Ray player to use with my new TV. It was not a Samsung.

    We live in a very rural area so it’s hard to find businesses willing to come to our house. We recently purchased a new 65” TV and new sound bar from Best Buy in Christiansburg, VA. The sales people were so kind, helpful and professional. They arranged for Geek Squad installers to deliver and install our new TV and existing sound bar, not only putting it up on the wall for us, but moving our old TV to another room, putting it on the wall, and installing a new sound bar. The installers were so nice, polite, thorough, and kind to us. They made sure that when they left, they had both TVs working smoothly. We are so pleased with our new TV and have had no problems with it. We will certainly purchase from Best Buy in the future. Thanks to all who helped us.

    I bought two of these and had to get each replaced and one of the replacements replaced. Best Buy was very helpful in the process. The TVs work great now and are excellent value. Great picture and good sound!

    Fantastic tv! Love the split screen functionality (nothing like watching four March madness games at once). Love the side profile, not quite as thin as my last Samsung, but not bad. Picture quality is great!
