Very Happy With 65" Samsung Neo QLED

It's definitely a stop above what we had previously. I had already decided on a QLED TV and was leaning toward either Samsung or LG. After viewing the choices and talking to a very informed salesperson, we decided on the Samsung Neo QLED. We're very happy with it.

We first bought a Samsung Q70b qled 4k with a sound bar but weren't as happy with the picture. We returned the soundbar & upgraded the tv to this tv & the picture is much better even from side angles & sound is good without a soundbar.

LG magic remote is still my favorite but this tv remote is pretty good too.

We have a lot of windows in our living room and could not see the screen when a movie was set in a dark room. With this tv we are able to see the tv. If you have a lot of light in your room this tv really helps. Great picture!

My first QLED

The characters on screen are so vivid they don't even look real. This is my first QLED and I don't regret this purchase at all. I can't vouch for the sound quality because I bought a soundbar and subwoofer the same day but it sounded fine before we got everything hooked up.

Ive had it connected to my sound bar since i brought it home. A family member unhooked the soundbar and now ive discovered an awful distored sound noise coming from the TV speaker. Sounds like a blown subwoofer. Obv i can avoid it w the sound bar but for $1500 or more depending on what deals are going on, ill need to get it fixed.

The QN85B features Intelligent Mode to optimize sound tailored to your environment, which includes features like Active Voice Amplifier (AVA) which further detects disturbances and enhances the on-screen voices for clear dialogue.
Go to Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Intelligent Mode Settings. Turn the options on or off to meet your needs:
- Active Voice Amplifier is available only when the sound sensor of the TV is active and the sound output is set to TV Speaker, or a Samsung Soundbar interlinked with Adaptive Picture is connected.
- Adaptive Sound+ provides optimized sound quality by analyzing the viewing space and the acoustic components of the content.
- Adaptive Volume Automatically adjusts to a specific volume level while you are watching TV.

I went from a 90R to q85B because the panel had broke after three years. I had the geek squad protection on the 99R so they replaced with q85b. Samsung makes a great product.

Once I acquired the correct screws/bolts I mounted the frame to the rear of the TV. With a friend I lifted in place, cautious to all the warning. Once installed the color and images are amazing. I had to add apps to the menu, this was not difficult. I successfully added all my apps and signed in. The solar charged remote takes a couple tries to master. All keys have at least double functions.
