    The TV is good by Best Buy service is not. I bought in Scottsdale (very good service) store for delivery in Seattle. This was one of two TVs that Seattle delivered ‘open box’. I paid full price. I called Best Buy and after getting transferred 5 times, one agent indicated they would send a gift card for the approximate amount of the ‘open box’ discounts and even provided a tracking number. I followed up after three weeks and was transferred six times hearing a range of stories from ‘we don’t have a record of it’ to ‘there was a technical issue in sending the cards’ to the agent is not empowered to do that. It has been impossible to talk to anyone local. Previously I have had very good experience with Best Buy and we have made multiple purchases recently from Scottsdale. However something has changed and local store are not able to resolve issues.

    HDMI faulty?

    I had my sound bar, Xbox x, and Amazon cube tv hooked up via hsmi. There seems to be Issues with 3 hdmi ports being used at the same time. When I play games, it will show up as “no source found. Please check hdmi”. Returned it within a week due to this frustration/hastle:

    This gaming TV was incredible at first, but after two (2) weeks of use the gaming mode stopped functioning and made using any HDMI port impossible. After doing thorough checks on two (2) gaming consoles, and three (3) different HDMI cords it was clear the TV was the problem. After calling Samsung (manufacturer) the agent on the phone admitting there had been other callers with the same issue and the only solution at the time (2023) is to turn off gaming mode completely and use the TV as normal. For some this may be viable solution, however, for someone like me you may have bought the TV specifically for the gaming mode. I got lucky and was able to return it and get my money back.

    After a lot of research, decided to purchase the Samsung QN90C at a good price. Was very disappointed with the picture quality. Settings were hard to dial in. Smart things calibration made it even worse. Sports looked terrible. Returned to the store after a few days.

    It most definitely has a glare at any angle. False advertisement. No difference at all when placed next to my old tv.

    This was the third damaged TV we have received. The backlight shows through the TV. Geek Squad even agreed it was damaged. We chose this TV having seen it In the stores we even went back to the store to see if it had this backlight issue but it did not. Geek Squad said it must be a bad batch but did not offer anything. I have had to adjust my work schedule 3 times for the uninstall/reinstall and still do not have a tv we are satisfied with. They simply tried to upsell a more expensive TV saying this might just not be the right fit even though they agreed it was damaged,

Unfortunately, even if a TV is double-boxed and the packaging shows no evidence of harm, a TV can still be damaged during transit if proper care is not taken. For example, if the TV were sitting in an incorrect orientation – laid on its side or tilted – during transit, damage could have been done.

    Spent over $1800 on this TV which had to have the board replaced because of connectivity problems, The Tv was barely a year old Now a couple months after the board was replaced having the same issue with connectivity... Wish I had never bought this TV!!

    I paid full price for this tv on Sunday night. Waited until today (Friday) to receive it. Finally got home and started to unbox it and getting it ready for set up. Screen was missing the film that usually new tvs have, left corner of image had a white spot and the screen had marks of something that could not wipe off definitely are noticeable. I am returning it firt thing tomorrow!

    Great TV, other than the issue with brightness. The image will "flicker" due to the brightness changing. Didn't happen often, but would happen in spurts, and was very annoying. For the price of this TV, that shouldn't happen. Read on cnet that it is an issue with this model. I returned it, and wouldn't recommend it

      I’m sorry to hear you’re not fully satisfied with the QN90C TV’s picture quality. If the image is too dim, please try disabling some of the TV's energy efficiency functions, as these will automatically adjust your picture and may cause your screen to appear brighter or darker than preferred. Go to: Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Power and Energy Saving > turn off Brightness Optimization, Brightness Reduction, and Motion Lighting

      You may also want to try adjusting image settings to improve your picture. Go to Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode
      1. Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments
      2. Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments
      3. Eco: Provided to save energy
      4. Movie: Suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room
      5. Filmmaker Mode: Provides source content just as the creators intended. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it’ll automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.

      You can also customize the brightness level of your screen between 0 – 50 to your preference. Go to: Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings

      Please also make sure you’ve got the latest firmware version installed on your TV. You can check this by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now

    Best Buy is the worst and they promote Samsung products and they sell all these different versions and qualities and then you’re not really getting what you think you’re gonna get. The return and exchange process has been extremely cumbersome.

    I got the TV home out the box and it did not work then I took it back and waited for 20 minutes to take it back then had to go find another TV not a good experience

    I bought as open box the screen had a blue green spot. I wasn’t impressed sometimes open box are great. Be careful with TVs

    I bought this TV online at the Samsung website and picked it up at my local best buy the next day. I previously had a 58" Vizio M7 which kicked the bucket after only a little over a year. After doing a little bit of research, I ended up with Samsung mostly because I've used their products through the years. I would've gone for a bigger screen than 65" but anything bigger than that wouldnt fit in my honda hrv lol The BB guys who helped load this thing into my suv was so surprised that it fit! Im a 105lb skinny 5'6" female and I was even able to unload this myself and set it up on my dresser in my bedroom. I'm pretty proud of myself as it took a bit of time and effort. The tv stand is made of metal and it felt twice the weight of the tv itself. Anyway, its been 2 months since then. Works perfectly. Very responsive unlike my old vizio. Great picture quality. Very easy to set up. I have it connected to a sound bar since day 1 so can't really comment on sound quality but overall but been enjoying this tv so far. I pray it will last me for years.

    Simply a great TV. Joe was really helpful with the free in home visit. Upsized from 50" old TV to 65" Samsung. Good size for 15' away viewing. The picture is a marked improvement with 4k upscaling of cable shows. Then oh wow what a difference with Netflix. Upgrade the subscription to 4k to view 4k movies . . . oh wow. All tvs have those little speakers on the back side of the TV. Get the Bose 600 soundbar and you have a night and day difference. Dialogue enhancement button really helps, there is even a center channel (dialogue) boost button if you need even more. This is our second living room TV with a soundbar. Probably don't need soundbar for bedrooms, but living room is a must.

    The 65 inch Samsung QN90C has lived up to the hype and is just what I wanted. It replaced an old 45 inch Samsung LCD TV that was quite a good TV with a good picture but my eyes have gotten a lot older and need more light to see well. The QN90C was just what I needed. I rated it highly even though I'm a bit nonplused by the Tizen interface that does not automatically go to broadcast TV, which is most of what I watch daily (news and a few shows).
