I think I got this tv at a good price. Set up was very easy. Took a little to learn how to navigate thru all the settings. The picture is great ,it looks just as good in house as it was in the store. Its worth the price, I have no regrets. You should run out and get this tv.

I recently picked up the Samsung QN90D 65” (2024) as an open-box deal at my local Best Buy. It was wrapped in bubble wrap, came without the original box or stand, but did include the remote. At first, I wasn’t sure what to expect from an open-box purchase — but the moment I set it up, I realized I’d found an incredible value.
This is my very first Samsung TV, and I finally understand the hype. The picture quality blew me away from the start. The deep blacks and rich contrast give it a near-OLED feel, while the brightness makes it perfect for watching during the day. Movies look cinematic, sports are crisp with no motion blur, and even regular TV feels elevated. Every time I turn it on, I catch myself just admiring how good it looks.
I’ve always been cautious about buying open-box items, but this experience completely changed my perspective. For the price, I feel like I got a premium TV that competes with the best. I absolutely love my new Samsung, and I’d recommend this TV — and even open-box deals — to anyone who wants top-tier performance without paying full price.
Pros: Gorgeous picture quality, deep blacks with near-OLED contrast, great brightness, amazing value for open-box.
Cons: No stand or original packaging.

Extremely bright tv, have to keep the brightness around halfway. Excellent picture quality out of the box, but MUCH better after using the built in calibration mode with a smart phone. Very very colorful after calibration! (I used a 3rd gen iPhone SE). Gaming is very responsive, and HDR looks great from 4k discs or streaming. Probably the biggest shock for me was how well it handles reflections. I have two lights on in the evenings, and I can’t see them reflecting at all now. Huge upgrade!

This TV is amazing. Me and my wife upgraded, she was excited to see how it looked watching a movie. The quality, the background light from the window is almost nonexistent I would buy this TV again and again.

This is our second QLED 65" tv. The pictures are sharp and when we compared the OLED tv, it was hard to tell which was the clearest picture. Also when we compared different brands such as Sony, the Samsung was at the top of the our list. Now we know that 'not all service providers are created equal'. But this Neo QLED technology works well with our Spectrum provider.

Love Samsung TVs, this one has great functionality and features and the picture quality and refresh rate is great! Without spending and arm and a leg for a tv I couldn’t be happier.

Best Christmas present EVER!!!
I was so sick of not being able to brighten my screen more. Now, I can see everything in the scenes/shows/movies that I missed because it was too dark, before.
The remote is weird, but I use Fire TV. I only need the TV remote for connecting BT, changing the screen to AI, Eye Comfort, etc.
If you don't like the remote, get a regular one.
If you want to see a side by side comparison between this and a standard dark screen, my YouTube review link is:

Great tv, great quality
I just prefer the televisions that have the box to plug all hdmis in and only have one clear wire present at the TV itself. Would prefer more hdmi n plug in options

I had a sony bravia kd60 that I bought over 5 years ago. It was good at that moment. When gaming, I noticed there were some odd white lines or the screen just didn't look as crisp. I had bought it from Frys which closed so I couldn't return it. I would consider it an ok tv, but it was definitely not letting me experience true 4k gaming properly. Fast forward to now, I decided to gift my bravia to my bro and try this samsung tv. I didn’t want oled due to being scared of burn in and having to get it serviced. I didn’t want all that trouble. I am happy to say that even though this tv is not oled, it is a night and day difference. The colors are beautiful, and the blacks displays so well, not washed out. I love all of its available smart tv capabilities. You could use it to replace your chromecast and play xbox cloud games, etc. I have all consoles and gaming laptop hooked to it. I am even wondering how my main rig with 4090 rtx would play with this tv, especially cyberpunk which looks beautiful on my monitor so i can only imagine how beautiful it would look on this tv. I like the gaming mode options. Love that it has 4 hdmi 2.1! I researched this tv for some time, and i wanted a lot more hdmi and gaming capabilities. I am overall very happy, and I can't believe I was missing out so much using my old tv. My brother will get to use the other tv since he watches tv more than gaming, so I don't feel as guilty purchasing this one. Tv and movies also look so crisp. I really like that I can enjoy movies and gaming without compromising. No regrets on not getting an oled. I have a laptop that has oled, and it does look amazing. But this tv has done an amazing job and I don't have to worry about burn in with long gaming sessions, etc.

Hoping it will lasts. Picture and sound quality are both an upgrade from previous tv. I'm concerned it will slow down over time, which isnt something you had to worry about in the past.
Stunning picture quality—but some streaming issues

I’ve had the QN65QN90DAFXZA for about 3 weeks. Picture quality is phenomenal—sharp detail, vibrant color, and excellent black levels. Setup was easy, and the smart interface is fast.
However, I experienced intermittent buffering issues on all streaming apps, even with fast internet and wired Ethernet. A factory reset temporarily fixed it, but the issue returned. After clearing the Smart Hub cache, it seems to be resolved for now.
I’m keeping an eye on it and hope it was a one-time glitch. I’ll update this review if anything changes.
