You will do what the TV wants you to do!

While the picture quality is very good, the software of the TV is an absolute disaster. Every time you turn it on, you have to see Samsung's ads, no way to disable it and just go to your previous selection. Also, you want to watch what's in HDMI1? Too bad! When you switch to it, the TV switches to HDMI2. So you switch back in HDMI1 and the TV, in a few seconds or minutes, will switch back to HDMI2. You have no choice, you will do what the TV wants, not what you want. Oh, and I have had my house inspected for poltergeists, it's clear, so the problem must be the TV. Sometimes I like to play video games and listen to music on a separate audio player. So I mute the TV and the soundbar and just listen to music. Too bad! The TV sound will just randomly turn back on, so don't use the mute feature, it's 1986, you have to turn the volume down all the way because it may unmute on it's own. There is very little positive I have to say for this TV besides the picture quality of whatever it wants you to watch. I know picture quality is one of the most important things but somehow, getting to use the TV you want is pretty important too.

The problem is I received it Friday and by Monday morning it is no longer turning on. I’ll reserve judgement for after I get the TV warranty claim done, but this is not acceptable.

First, please ensure your TV is running the latest firmware, as updates may include important picture quality enhancements. Go to: Home > Left directional button > Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now
Then, select a Picture Mode that best fits your environment: Home > Home > left directional key > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode
1. Standard – Default mode for general viewing
2. Dynamic – Brighter and clearer in well-lit rooms
3. Eco – Optimized for energy saving
4. Movie – Best for watching in dark environments
5. Filmmaker Mode – Preserves content exactly as intended by creators

TV is fine, FORCED ADVERTISING SUCKS!

Samsung broadcasts advertising on the TV's homepage that takes up half the screen. With no way to eliminate that function, You are forced to see whatever is making THEM the most money. I will never purchase another Samsung product

Hard to control color and brightness levels

Thank you for your feedback on the picture quality of your QN90F. You may want to try disabling the following features: Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Power and Energy Saving
• Brightness Optimization
• Energy Saving Solution
• Motion Lighting
If these are already off, check if Contrast Enhancer is enabled, which can also cause brightness to shift depending on content: Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Contrast Enhancer.
Please know you can easily adjust the picture on your screen by using our preset Picture Modes. To explore picture mode options, navigate to: Home > Left directional button > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode. Options include:
• Standard – Ideal for general viewing
• Dynamic – Brighter and more vibrant for well-lit spaces
• Eco – Optimized for energy efficiency
• Movie – Best for viewing in low light
• Filmmaker Mode – Preserves the content creator’s intent and disables motion smoothing for supported content

Color saturation is brutal

The contrast between different picture settings has not improved it and manual reset of the TV back to its factor settings did not help either. Please be careful when making this purchase

Best in Class 4k

I did not expect it to do so well in my new homes living room. I can’t speak for the TVs built in speakers because i use a soundbar, but again i am really impressed with the quality of the picture in this TV and how well it upscales with older shows, we have been watching Dexter, and my wife just cant believe TVs can be so different since we upgraded from a Crystal RU8000

No help at all. 3 weeks have gone by and samsung just contacted me about a service man to come out. No need bought a sony and it was installed 8/11 Worked beautifully from the monent it was turned on geek guys were messy and seemed like they were new at installing
