Samsung continues to make some of the best TVs on the market. This is a great option if you wish to upgrade to OLED without breaking the bank. You will pay more for OLED, but the picture quality speaks for itself. The viewing angle is terrific, and the user interface and setup is great. I use this as my main living room TV mounted, supplemented with a good soundbar system. This TV is greta for movies, gaming, and sports. I highly recommend this as an OLED option.

I upgraded to this TV from a Samsung 55-in curved. Did I bought in December of 2018. And I thought that TV had a great picture. But wow after watching a lot of different shows and movies, on this 65-in OLED, the picture is absolutely ridiculously clear. You can watch for many viewing angle You don't have any glare, even if I have a light on You don't really see it in the TV. Glad I chose this.

I have owned this TV for nearly a month now and I can confidently say that this is one solid financial decision that I have made this year. The unit is everything Samsung says it does: features a large display screen that perfectly provides excellent viewing experience. The screen resolution is crystal clear and the home screen app selection and arrangement is a delight. Also, I took advantage of a limited time mark down offer. I use Smart Things as a superior remote control feature that eliminates the need for the remote that came with the unit. It's an optional feature that you would greatly appreciate. But I love the redesigned Samsung remote control. It is flat, very portable, usb-C- and solar-rechargeable, and light weight. Samsung has regained my loyalty with this redesign. Previous designs were horrible deal breakers. The screen is ultra slim and setup is very easy. The dual setup options (QR code and remote) completely eliminates the cumbersome task of flipping through pages of a paper manual. The unit is in my master bedroom and I'm loving it.

The price is well worth this TV, it's huge, easy to install, and the picture is fantastic. The only downside is that you will spend more time watching it. The sound is solid for built in speakers, especially with how thin it is. The OS is great and easy to use, you can play games on it via cloud gaming, and there are tons of customization options. I love Samsung TVs in general but this one is especially fantastic. I have 0 bad things to say about it so far.

The picture quality is outstanding, but you will need a fire stick or google tv or Apple TV. None of the streaming apps work unless my smart phone is a hotspot except Pluto tv! If you are gaming you must enable game mode otherwise the will be seriously lag, but the screen becomes too bright and the gui is not user friendly. It has Alexa built in which is responsive and one of the few apps that work on the home network. The remote control is terrible it’s easy to lose. If I could go it again I would stick with LG. Complaints aside OLED is superior to flagship LCD\LED or whatever marketing buzz words being thrown around.

The picture quality from the OLED is very bright and vibrant. The blacks are amazing. The sound and the game hub feature that is built in the tv is awesome and great to have. The remote is very user friendly especially with the voice command or you can use it with your SmartThings app. I highly recommend this tv brand

Clear - easy to set up. When trying to decide between the QLED and OLED, the deep blacks on this model sold me on OLED. Sound is good for a flat television, but plan to buy a sound bar to compliment my surround sound setup.

The Samsung 65” Class S85D Series OLED 4K Smart Tizen TV (2024) exceeded my expectations with its incredible picture quality and advanced features. The OLED display delivers stunningly vibrant colors, deep blacks, and impressive contrast, making every scene look lifelike. Watching movies and playing games feels immersive, especially with the 4K resolution and smooth refresh rate. The design is sleek and modern, fitting seamlessly into my living room. The Smart Tizen interface is intuitive and fast, giving me easy access to apps and streaming platforms. I also appreciated the wide range of connectivity options, which made setting up my sound system and gaming console hassle-free. One minor downside is that the audio quality is decent but not exceptional, so I paired it with a soundbar for a richer experience. Overall, I’m thrilled with this purchase and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a premium OLED TV. It’s a bit of an investment, but the performance and features are absolutely worth it.

Got the TV on a great price. Have had no issues yet. Very easy to use. The remote is different. But I place it face down and let my light that I keep on at night charge it. It has a capability to plug in charge. do you think for the price of the TV it would come with the attachment for that. The sound and color are great as well

Picture: The picture quality on this TV is excellent so far. Sound: The sound was very disappointing. The sound quality was definitely lacking and an additional sound bar had to be purchased to "even out" the background sound and when people were speaking. Appearance: This TV is very very thin from the side view. Very nerve wracking to handle. The included feet are not very attractive and we prefer a base that allows the TV to swivel like our old Samsung 55". Additional: The included remote is very small and easy to lose amongst the couch cushions but included a solar panel on the back which eliminates the need for batteries. It might take a little time to get used to the Tizen Smart system and its complete takeover of your PS5, Blu Ray, DVR, etc.

I love the color quality and user friendly nature of this tv. The connectivity to google home is so helpful and the controller on your phone is great. I will say it is very heavy so plan ahead for wall mounting!

5/5 Stars – Goodbye Blackspot, Hello Bliss I used to own a TV with a mysterious blackspot that I convinced myself was just “part of the plot.” Every action scene? Obscured. Every subtitle? Half gone. I called it “TV peek-a-boo.” But then came the 65" Samsung – crisp, clear, and gloriously unblemished. It’s like switching from a dirty windshield to IMAX. This thing is so vivid, I feel like I owe the actors rent for living in my living room. 25 days in, and the only black spot is the one in my heart for not upgrading sooner.

Love this OLED TV! Been waiting years &, after my Samsung plasma died after 12 yrs, took the plunge. Got it for $500 off, plus, Samsung had free offer to hang on the wall, via Geeks. Geeks came in & took care of business in an hour. Paid an extra $50 to have them haul off old tv. They also checked out our recently purchased 43” Toshiba purchased from Best Buy. I couldn’t figure out how to link my Bluetooth ear phones. In less than 4 minutes they had it set up. Gave ea Geek $20 for their help & friendly, courteous demeanor - they initially refused but I insisted. Glad to be a member. Worth the bucks.

Purchased our Samsung tv last month. We were ready for an upgrade from our previous Samsung (which was also a great tv). Has a fantastic picture, very bright and vibrant.

Beautiful picture, bright and clear viewing from all angles. Except for the screensaver having no disable option, this television has been great for sports and movies.

Poor PQ out of the box. Very dim. I went to “Samsung 85 D Calibration Ratings, That took me the Ratings website calibration page for this model. I made all the adjustments. Turned off Filmaker mode which immediately brightened the TV. The TV PQ went from 1/5 to 4/5. Maybe 5/5. Looks just as vibrant from any angle. No washout, no reflection. Moderately lit room. My previous TV, a Samsung QLED HAD A VIBRANT picture but terrible washout from an angle. The Best Buy installers were outstanding. After wall mounting on the existing mount, they said because the holes were different, the TV looked to high. It was. They offered to remove the mount and lower it. Instead, I had them remove the mount and use the legs. It looks better. They went through all the settings and when they left, the TV was set up.

A little less than a month of ownership and I’m very happy with the purchase. TV is amazing and displays great on ps5 and coax tv. Setting are easy to get to and adjust. The gaming mode feature helps a lot. Doesn’t have as bad of motion refresh, soap opera feel. Happy with purchase and install, of which install was free! Great price for a middle end OLED tv at $995. Only downside I’ll mark is the volume is all over the place depending on the source. Sometimes I’m at 15 and then I have to go to 30 because of different audio on the channel/source side.

Bought this TV after looking for months. I couldn't decide between the this or the LG 65" OLED. I replaced a 60" Samsung that I had for more than 15 years and was always rebooting in the middle of programs. I wasn't going to stay with Samsung because of that. When this one went on sale for $300.00 less. I bought it. Set up was easy and getting it signed into all my Samsung accounts was seamless. Picture is so clean it makes it feel like 3D.

This was a massive upgrade from what I had previously, so any new TV purchased would have been a remarkable improvement. However, when comparing other manufacturers, and even other Samsung TV's, I could see an extreme difference in the clarity and definition of this TV and all others. I believe for this specific price point, there was not a better alternative to even consider. I had not intended to spend as much as this unit required, but the measure of improvement over all others warranted and justified the expense.

I love this TV and appreciate the education from the Best Buy sales team. The colors and detail are so much more vibrant and crisp compared to other models that we were considering. Got a nice sale price on this model as well.
