    Bad boards

    Looks great. But shuts itself off randomly. Then turns back on, ive reset it, ive hit the remote, ive done all the troubleshooting. Turns out these are known to do it. 1600$ for junk. Would not buy again. Get a different tv.

      It’s unfortunate to hear your TV is turning off by itself. Please try a few troubleshooting steps that may help solve the issue:

      1. Unplug the TV from the wall outlet or surge protector and leave it unplugged for 30 seconds.
      2. Check the power cord to see if there is any visible damage.
      3. Plug the TV power cord back into the wall outlet. If you were using a surge protector, bypass it for now and use a wall outlet.
      4. Try to update the software. In some cases, a software update can correct the problem. There is a risk, however. If the TV turns off during the software update, it could damage the TV. Updates can take up to 30 minutes depending on network speed, so if the TV is not turning off too frequently, try updating the software.

    Thinner isn't necessarily better.

    The picture looked nice and bright when I turned it on, however the frame itself was bent. After doing some research, I saw that this is a fairly common issue with thin Samsung TVs, so I'm returning it and looking for a different brand.

    Faulty Power Board

    We’ve only had this tv for 5 months and the power board went out. It’s been a nightmare trying to get it replaced with the Samsung repair team. I’ve read online other people have ran into the same issue of the power board going out. Some people even said theirs went out in 2 weeks. Luckily it’s in warranty now but our fear is it going out again and not being within warranty. For the price of this tv, it’s definitely not worth it if there is a faulty part. I’d look at other tvs or brands.

    Sound Issues

    Upgraded to this tv from a 55in UHD Samsung that was very dark. The picture on this tv is great! The reason for the 1 star is the sound. The sound cuts off and is followed by a terrible clicking sound followed by a high pitch sound. This happened with both a Bose sound bar connected and just the tv speakers. Swapped out cable box, changed hdmi cables, same issue. This tv will be returned to Best Buy tomorrow. Very dissatisfied! Very leery about buying another Samsung tv.

    I like how Best Buy puts incentivized next to every review. Now you can't tell the fake reviews apart from the legit ones. This TV has a decent panel but it is limited by the horrible UI that is tizen, as well as a horrible warranty program. They have a button you click at the end of the surveys "I will never buy anything from Samsung again." Haha, I wonder how many people said the same thing to them that they just turned it into a button.
