For that reason i am giving 4 stars

It works seamlessly with my older receiver, which my previous the TV did, but was slow. Speaking of speed, this TV is very fast to change apps or so whatever you're trying to do, almost no lag whatsoever. My only complaint is it lacks Chromecast. I miss being able to just push the little button on my phone for it to play on the TV. Any other method is just cumbersome.

The sound has a couple of seconds delay at very low volume before it jumps up to your selected volume #. The inner pc is up to date, but the processor is very slow to navigate menus. In the settings...expert...bass and equalizer setting, the only portion of the sound i can adjust is Bass. No keys toggle to the other sounds. When i try to open the digital manual it blinks on the manual screen twice for a split second then doesnt open. It just reverts back to whatever app you where watching previously (Roku, live tv etc). It would be nice if sll the functions worked!! The Geek squad guys who installed it although polite, just jumped thru the setup settings on there own and never even offered to explain any features, settings etc.

We are no longer asking each other ‘what just happened?’ because our previous TVs did not have the resolution to be obvious. Our annual tradition of watching The Lord of the Rings has changed forever because we can now see details that we haven't seen since we watched the movies in the theater at first release.

It has a great controller and I would recommend this TV to others and this TV has a box that everything plugs into instead of plugging into the back of the TV, which is definitely different than anything I’ve seen before so far the TV has been great

My tv faces a large picture window facing the west sun. The picture quality is great, no glare. But, I’ve gone through the settings on this tv over and over and the volume is out of control. It bursts into overly loud moments for a few seconds off and on. Its awful. I wish i could return it and get a different tv.

We appreciate you sharing details of the dimming issue you’ve experienced on your TV. Please try disabling some of the TV's energy efficiency functions, as these will automatically adjust your picture and may cause your screen to appear brighter or darker than preferred.
Check to see if Contrast Enhancer has been enabled. This setting automatically adjusts your TV's brightness so the difference between bright and dark areas is not excessive. Go to: Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Contrast Enhancer
If Contrast Enhancer hasn’t been enabled, please see if Brightness Optimization, Brightness Reduction, or Motion Lighting have been enabled and disable them.
- Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Power and Energy Saving > turn off Brightness Optimization, Brightness Reduction, and Motion Lighting
Please also be sure your TV’s firmware is up to date with the latest version. You can check this by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now

I usually pair TV’s with a soundbar but the built in one is very adequate for a large room. I have the s95 in my family room and the s90 in a bedroom. The difference in picture quality is noticeable, but both the S95 and s90 have such good quality that most people wouldn’t notice the difference when casually viewing
