Managed to buy the 2022 model when they were on sale a few months ago and thought it was a great deal. Now watching any show on rhis tv, i focus on one big problem i see this tv having and have seen alot of reddit users comment on. The backlighting bleed and the edges of rhe screen. My tv seems to have the worst backlight bleed ive ever seen. Ive tried reducingg the brightnrss but to no avail, it does not soften the bleed enough to not be noticed.i dont have the box anymore but if i did, id probably have samsung replace it. Its a shame because i want to love this tv but the price of it vs the quality is disturbing. The whole bottom of my screen shows led bleeding and its all i can focus on.

HomebrewJoe,
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the picture quality of your Frame TV. To ensure you’ve got the latest image quality updates, please confirm that your TV is up to date with the latest firmware version. You can check by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.
If the picture you’re seeing is still not to your liking after updating firmware, there are several picture settings you may want to try adjusting.
1) Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments. 2) Movie: Is suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room. 3) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments. 4) Filmmaker Mode: You can watch the source content (e.g., movie) as it is. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it will automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.
You can also fine-tune your picture with expert settings such as brightness, contrast, sharpness and more (All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings).
For further assistance with settings adjustments, please contact Samsung Customer Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8AM - 12AM EST, 7 days a week. Our LiveChat agents are also available by clicking on the ‘Support’ link on our website.

Buyer Beware

Absolutely horrible. We purchased a 50 & 65 and both are barely over 2 years old. Both have a yellow blob in the middle of the screen. Internet is littered with reviews about the same problem. It's an obvious issue but Samsung's response is pay for a new screen or buy a new one. I've been buying Samsung TV's for 20 years but I'll never buy another one.

We have only had this TV for 20 months, and it is already breaking. The screen is going out. For such an expensive TV, it should last much longer than it has. Very disappointed. Would not recommend.

After 1.5 years of ownership and NEVER moving my TV from its original spot, random red lines are showing up at tbe top of the screen. Naturally its out of warranty and Samsungs solution is to sell me another TV at a discounted price. $2000 TV less that 2 years old.

Aesthetics are important

I love the new frame TV! My husband loves it too! He wanted another TV in the beginning…just didn’t believe that the aesthetics would be that important.
I’ve recently had some decorating done and this it probably my favorite new addition. I love to get up early and play with the artwork and put up a new one that suits my mood. I often read more about the work and artist while having my morning . I recently had an event at my home and many guests not realize it was a TV above my mantle. You can actually see brushstrokes.
The TV picture quality is also outstanding. My husband enjoys his sports more than ever! It’s a win for both of us!

I've looked at this TV ever since Samsung first started making them and I'm very glad that I've finally gotten it. Loving this television! I was able to have it installed for free because I'm a Total Tech member: the membership was worth the cost, no fuss no muss, easy process. The techs were wonderful, btw. The picture is clear and there is a matte finish to it, so there is absolutely no glare. The subscription to the "Frame" art feature is marvelous. You can also use other apps to get an image showing onscreen when you're not watching TV. Oh, another thing: Samsung TV is installed on the TV, giving the owner more viewing options. I still need to read through all the documentation, but I think the features of this TV make it the one that is finally going to enable me to cut the cable cord.

Great TV for a highly visible area of the home. We have it in an open living room where you can see the side view from the kitchen. The flush mount to the wall is really nice to keep it very clean looking. The added benefit is the ART which is really cool and easily customized.

I mainly wanted this TV to be about to do a slideshow of my photos/art. The picture quality is great. The fact that there is still backlighting in my slideshow takes away from it just looking like a framed piece of art. Took awhile to figure out how to set up art vs going onto live tv but I like it so far. Gave 4 stars-mostly good but took one off due to back lighting, complicated remote/programming/uploading images and pricey art/having to pay for membership.

We absolutely love our Samsung 65 inch frame tv. It looks fabulous hanging above our fireplace and we currently have a picture of Santa reading the North Pole news on display. The picture quality is amazing in both art and tv mode. Five stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Our friends are going to buy one after seeing ours! Highly recommend!

Samsung The Frame TV Review

The **Samsung The Frame TV** is a stunning blend of technology and art. With its **4K QLED display**, it delivers vibrant colors and sharp details. The standout feature is its **Art Mode**, which transforms the TV into a digital art display when not in use, seamlessly blending with your home decor.
The **slim, customizable bezels** let you match it to your style, and the **anti-glare matte finish** makes artwork look realistic. While it’s **pricier** than standard 4K TVs, the unique design and smart features (like **voice control & HDMI 2.1**) make it worth it for those who value aesthetics.
