    Truly looks like framed art

Crisp display over 1080p HD and especially over 4K. The wall mount kit allows the TV to lay very close to flush to the wall for a clean look - would recommend professional install for a TV this large. Comes with a thin translucent cable that is not in-wall rated, so you depending on how it’s mounted, you’ll see some of the wire - unless you spring for a $200 in-wall equivalent that must be purchased separately. Art mode is a cool feature and makes the TV look even more decorative when not in use - you don’t have to purchase a membership, as there are free pieces of art and you can even upload your own images with a USB stick. We bought a separate bezel, and that looks even more like framed art than a TV - just wish that would’ve been included instead of an extra $200.

After having this TV for about a year, I feel I can give a full, honest review. I bought this TV because it was objectively not ugly. I really like how it sits nearly flush to the wall, and I really like the clean lines. The TV itself is great. The matte screen is very sleek, and the picture quality is fantastic. There is some light leaking in the corners when the screen is dark, but not terrible. The remote is mediocre. The solar charging feature is kind of neat. But the Samsung OS is absolutely horrible. The software is so clunky. There is not a way to close apps or restart them without rebooting the TV. The TV reboot is neither intuitive nor does it work consistently. Apps frequently claim to have lost internet connectivity and then become extremely sluggish. I don't really care about the art mode. It's a neat feature for sure, but I'm more interested in having a TV that's consistently functional. Turning this TV on is a frustrating experience, which is really a shame.

      AllisonP,

We appreciate your feedback on the response time, and for optimal performance, we ask that you please ensure you've got the latest firmware version installed on your Frame TV. You can check this by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.

You may also want to further optimize performance with the self-diagnostic tool, which checks memory, frees up unused cached memory, and closes background apps. Go to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care

I hope these tips help you enjoy your new product.

The fact you can display art when not in use without damaging the screen is cool (especially when your tv lives above the fireplace), but the fact there’s an external box for this thing that lives separate from the back of the tv so you can manage all your cords somewhere else is soooooo much better! I have a mount that lets you pull the tv down—to rest below the fireplace and save your neck—but pulling on those cords (and managing the cords in general in old houses with less-than-ideal outlet placement) has been bothering me for years!! Not anymore. Every TV company out there should be offering this external tv box thingy— I’ll never go back to the way it was now that I know it’s possible. Also, screen quality is great, I was between this and an OLED (for the better picture obviously), but boy am I glad I went with this piece of engineering/design perfection.

Great picture quality. No window glare showing on the screen which is one of the reasons buying it. Love the matte finish. Like the fact the we have a variety of pictures to select from so a picture can be on the screen when not watching TV. So it’s not just a black screen. Its a work of art being seen.

Excellent product. The near zero-gap install is easy; took me, an average homeowner, about an hour to install. Had help hanging the actual tv, otherwise this was a single person task. Instructions included are decent; I suggest watching a couple of videos prior to attempting installation to minimize potential errors. The image quality is very good but not amazing while watching most tv or streaming services; there is some mild pixel deterioration with action films or sports—that said, I didn’t buy this with the intention of getting the best possible image. I got it for its flush mount capability and because of its art component. The artwork is stunning and you have the ability to add your own images via wifi/app or usb. You can also purchase Samsung’s monthly plan—I advise using it for the free membership first and then making a decision during those three months. The customization for the static art is also a major draw; you can adjust the light and also have the ability to add matte applications to most images. Plus you can save your favorite images for easy access. Guests are constantly complimenting my “artwork” before realizing it’s a tv! I was skeptical about the tech initially but Samsung has come a long way with their Frame line and I would recommend with little hesitation.

Picture is great. The art looks amazing on it. Remote is intuitive. The base where everything plugs in is so much smarter than dealing with plugging things in the back of the tv and running wires behind the wall. I was worried that sound wouldn't be good, but it is solid. All of that and the TV looks great on the wall.

LOVE THE FRAME TV! I have been contemplating this purchase for months and I’m so glad I finally bought the frame. The picture quality is outstanding, and we are options are out of this world! As many of us have them over our fireplace mantle. It is so much better to have an art option instead of just a TV.

I've had the Samsung Frame TV for a while now, and it has been a fantastic addition to my home. The picture quality is stunning, with vibrant colors and deep blacks, making everything from movies to sports look great. The sound quality is pretty good for a flat-screen TV, though I did opt for a soundbar to enhance it. The brightness is also impressive, even in a bright room, and I appreciate the adaptive features. One of my favorite aspects is how it doubles as a piece of artwork when I'm not watching TV. The customizable bezels and artwork mode really elevate the room's decor. I would absolutely recommend this TV to anyone who wants both form and function.

I hesitated on spending this much on a TV when I actually don’t watch TV much but it was worth the splurge in my new home and I love it! It’s beautiful and so many people have asked me “where is your TV going?” bc the pixelation is so different it really looks like art and not a TV. And for someone that rarely turns on their TV throughout the day, it’s better than just a black screen above the fireplace. I like that I can change the art based on season/my mood. Now be mindful that the frame itself plus the subscription for artwork is even more money than I hadn’t anticipated. Also if you want to mount it to hide any trace of TV/cable boxes it requires cutting in your walls and is a bit tricky and pricey. But if you have the extra funds or just want to splurge on a statement piece it’s a good one. All my friends want one now. My only regret is not going a little bigger.

At first as I was a little hesitant to purchase this tv bc everyone is talking about OLED but I'm glad I went with my gut! The Samsung Frame has exceeded all my expectations. Such an incredible picture, little to no glare! My PS5 looks amazing on it. The artwork standby mode blew me away. Bonus part, it looks so good on the wall! Most people didnt realize it was a tv.

Excellent TV. Love the sleek and slim design. Love the no glare screen and the way it really does hang like a picture frame, with almost no gap against the wall. Although I think the Neo QLED had a sharper and brighter image, the deciding factor for me was the price and one connect box. Also it came with the the slim mounting hardware, which allowed for minimal clearance from the wall. Also think displaying my art and photos is fun.

The picture on the TV is amazing, especially the matte finish which avoids glare. The mounting brackets are very nice, even if the instructions could be more clear. My biggest complaint is with loading my own photographs via the SmartThings app to show in "art mode" -- they could definitely improve the mobile app.

This TV is amazing for rooms that suffer from lots of sunlight. I have to windows in the bedroom that face the TV and I can open the blinds and still not see glare. The picture quality is amazing as well with art and pictures looking like a true painting.

The TV quality and sound were amazing. I enjoyed the portraits at times, as well as some of the ambience channels available. Two days after hanging the tv, bulges appeared at the top edge of the screen and now there are color lines at the top. It does not impact shows much. However, it is the glass and unable to get it repaired under warranty.

This is my second Frame TV. First was sold along with the house (because it went so well), the second is just over a year old (just out of warranty) and now has a blue hue through the right-most 1/4 of the screen. We're shopping for a replacement and I haven't decided if I want to go with another Frame. I really get sick of the Samsung TV channel. We can't seem to disable this feature and every time it turns on, it defaults to playing some garbage off the channels. We are not a TV kind of family; we watch it to display our phones and for watching movies. Its a beautiful TV and I love the artwork. I constantly have people thinking its art and not a TV (well, until the screen broke and has a blue hue through it, that is). The art can get expensive if you buy it from the Art Store, but you can also purchase them off Etsy for a significantly less price, though you may not be able to find the classic pieces you were going for.

Great picture thin and astonishingly real display of art. I very much like this television except that it is completely locked down by Samsung. That is it is not possible to address it with an external computer program which I needed to do. If you are going to be using it within the limits imposed by Samsung you will be very happy

I love this tv. Samsung hit a homerun with this frame tv. I'm not a huge art fan but I am home all day so it is nice to have something displayed rather than just staring at a blank screen reminding me that the TV is off. At first, it looked like we had a screen saver for the TV but then we received the bezel frame and it made all the difference. It still reminds us of a screen saver but it is a much nicer and more interesting screen saver. Although, I bet if the TV was placed in an area where a TV was not expected, it would easily pass for a portrait. The quality of the image is that good. The quality of the TV picture is great also. Very bright. All the colors pop. This TV replaces a samsung 7 series which I thought had a great image but this image is much more crisp and bright. Very happy with the upgrade. My absolute favorite part of this tv is the anti-glare. It is must-have technology. We placed the tv in our bright living room and there is no longer a need to shut all curtains and blinds to see the tv during the day. The image is clearly displayed with the sun beating into this room. Thrilled with this tv. The sound is also good. We don't have it connected to any sound bar and can hear everything fine.
