Excellent Art Mode
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Art Mode is why we bought this 65" TV and it delivers quite well. The mat choices are not always good but the art looks terrific. The matte finish is part of that good look. No reflections at all. Video from over the air and internet streaming look very good , as well.

Yo this TV SLAPS!!! No cap!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the only tv I would even consider when replacing my old LG that crapped out after only 3 years. I mean it when I say I HATE visible cords. This is the only tv that has ONE CORD going into the back of it. All other components plug into a “receiver” box that can be neatly concealed out of sight. This also is the only tv that I could find with a matte finish screen. Our living room has a lot of natural light and the matte finish eliminated ALL reflections on the screen! Lastly, it’s incredibly nice to have such a big ugly piece of technology “disappear” and showcase 4K versions of famous artwork when it’s turned off. The fact that my tv looks like framed artwork tickles me to death!

Good TV, Artwork Capability OK
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this for my wife so she could have her photography on display (especially our kids). TV quality is what I would expect from a Samsung and love how close it sits to the wall. I wish there were better border/frame options to truly make it look like artwork when not in use.

Great TV
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this TV. It is my 2nd one. Bought the first direct from Samsung. Caution. What they don’t tell you is that you need to have this tv on a heavy duty (appliance/power tools) surge protector or over time power surges will fry the panel. Mine lasted 3 years and the screen went black. Costs more to fix than it’s worth. I waited for Memorial sake and bought same tv from Best Buy with a five year extended warranty and have it on a heavy duty surge protector.

Love it!
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We love our Samsung frame, it hangs in our living room & people always comment on how it looks just like a picture! ◡̈ The only con is that if you don’t already have a conduit to mount, you’ll have to get the mounting box for a true, flat install. So definitely make sure you can have a mounting box (above fireplace) if you plan on having it there.

Almost Great
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Our Frame TV completed our living room. Previously, we had a pretty big black rectangle sticking out into our living room most of the time (unless we were watching). Now, the nearly-flush Frame against the wall is as unobnoxious as you can get. The matte screen doesn’t reflect the setting sun in the window or the ceiling light as well. Of course, the art in the screen when it’s off is almost a pleasure. First, the image quality is excellent. And, by adjusting the brightness, it can be the centerpiece of the room or not. However, the monthly subscription for more than a handful of built in images is obnoxious and I resent it. You can’t put your own image in, and it truly irks me to have another vendor sucking cash automatically from my credit card each month to pay fir when my TV is off. You came so close to having a joyous, loyal customer. Why did you have to stick it to me in the end?

Posted .Nesor,
Thank you for sharing your experience, and I'm sorry to hear of the misunderstanding; please know that you can upload your personal photos from a phone via SmartThings app or from an external storage device.
Here are the steps for importing from an external storage device:
1. Connect the USB memory device storing images to the TV.
2. The USB memory is automatically recognized, and the screen displays a list of image, music, and video files that are stored in the USB memory. You can also go to Menu > Connected Devices and select the external device.
3. Navigate to the folder that contains the image file you want to save to the TV, and then select Options > Send to Art Mode.
4. Select the image and press Send. The image, stored in the external device memory, is saved under Art Mode.
Here’s how to import images from the SmartThings app:
1. Download the SmartThings app on your mobile device
2. Follow the in-app instructions to add your TV to your account
3. Once added, find and select your TV in the app and select Art Mode
4. To add the pictures from the phone directly to the tv, select the picture icon at the bottom right. This opens your phone’s photo gallery and allows you to add up to 50 photos to your TV at a time. Once you’ve finished selecting photos, select Next at the bottom.
5. You’ll then see all selected photos; if you’re ready to display one on your TV, select the image of your choosing and select SET ON THE FRAME, which will display the photo you’ve chosen on your TV.

TV is Great
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We are loving the TV and the quality of the picture. There are 2 downsides that we have found so far. The app for adding your own pictures isn't exactly user friendly. It should be set up for people who don't do it everyday especially when you want to add your own photos. The other thing is I am unable to be play music through the sound system in the main room, where the TV is set up, when art work is on the screen. If the music starts to play the screen goes blue and "Bluetooth" appears in the bottom right side of the screen. Any help would be ppreciated.

Great TV
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TV has a great picture and some movies look like you are right in the theater. It's very clear and the matte finish is really nice. I wish more TV's had it. It's nice to be able to put some pictures up on the TV too.

Works great in our bright room.
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I Love this TV. The matte screen is what we needed for our room full of windows. We can actually watch it during the day. The remote works well enough and we love the art features So much we bought a second one for our kitchen. The picture is great too. I know there are better screens with better blacks but the all use a shiny screen and it won’t work in our room.

Beautiful
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Looks great on my wall. Picture quality is great. Sound can be better but still good. Good variation of apps available. Beware there’s a small box attached to the Tv. Good amount of options of free pictures. It comes with its own wall mount.

Great at artwork, not great at other stuff
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It does artwork better than any other TVs. Operating system is not as good as previous years and the eARC will not work with their flagship soundbar, the 990B. I had so many issues trying to get the TV to work with the soundbar that I resorted to a $300 adapter from HD fury (which at least also gives me Dolby Vison on a Samsung, which is a noticeable improvement). I returned the first TV because it had significant light leaks. The second panel still has them but they are less pronounced. The matte finish is nice and people think it really is artwork before they figure out it’s a TV. It’s great as a piece of art, it’s mediocre or worse at everything else.

Posted .Waylon,
We appreciate you sharing the connectivity issues you're experiencing, and for optimal performance, we ask that you please ensure your Frame TV is running the latest firmware version. You can check this by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.
You'll also need to ensure you're using a high-speed HDMI cable with Ethernet Channel (sometimes called HDMI HEC cable).
And lastly, please verify that HDMI-eARC is enabled by going to: Menu > Settings > All Settings > Sound > Expert Settings.
I hope this helps. Should you need further assistance, please reach out to Samsung Customer Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8AM - 12AM EST, 7 days a week. Our LiveChat agents are also available by clicking on the ‘Support’ link on our website.

Fit for purpose - home decor & pic quality
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Samsung frame TVs are perfect for keeping a style or decor in any room where you want a high end capable smart TV. Picture and features are excellent. It is edge lit - meaning not the best overall quality of backlight but it’s only ever noticeable when the content displayed is completely black. I give the TV high marks because it fits a purpose. Decor, and flush mount to wall - make it look like an art piece and still have very good quality media. I own 3 of these TVs in my house.

Samsung's 65 inch The Frame TV
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very pleased with the TV. It has a great picture and the Art mode makes it nice when the TV is in the sleep mode. So far the only down side is the fact that the operating instructions are on line only.

Great TV but Horrible Remote
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the TV. The picture is great, the no glare screen is amazing, the art mode is awesome. The Bluetooth remote is junk. It doesn't work with a frame on the TV. Samsung knows it's an issue, but won't do anything about it. I've been through 4 different remotes. They work for a few months before the bluetooth function stops working. I just have to use the TV without a frame on it because of the remote issue.
