The only reason I give it a 4 is because it came dented. But the dryer is amazing.

We are very happy with our Samsung washer. We went ahead and got a Samsung dryer too! We are overall happy with Samsung products. The washer sings to us when is done with the loads. There are many settings to use, you can monitor the loads in the app. Excellent machine!

This washer and dryer works like a champ!! The agitator really breaks up dirt and hard stains. Make the purchase, You will not regret it!!

What I like most about this dryer is that it dries my clothes so fast! Half the time of what it used to take me with my old dryer. It is also very easy to use and very straightforward. Even my mom can use it easily and she's the type to always forget what to button to push; but with this machine it's such a breeze for her to use which makes me glad that i purchased this one. I also like the melody that plays when it is done. it's such a cute touch and also since it lasts for a few seconds, we can definitely hear it even when we're upstairs/different sides of the house. The capacity is also great, can fit so much clothes in one go. It has eight preset drying cycles and I usually use the normal cycle. I used to do timed dry in my old dryer but with this one, I find that using the normal cycle is better because it this dryer is equipped with a sensor that optimizes the time required to dry the clothes. It also makes me at ease knowing that this sensor helps to avoid over-drying/damaging my clothes and avoiding excess energy use. Overall a very good purchase and my family is very satisfied.

So I used to sell appliances years ago, I am picky about which brands make good quality in which areas. Samsung has always made wonderful and reliable laundry sets, so they were in my list to consider in my price range along with Whirlpool and Maytag. I have a few requirements- I need a large capacity to do comforters, I want a sensor dry option like my old dryer had (a Kenmore 80 series made by Whirlpool) and wanted to be able to pick a time and temp setting when I need to (what kind of dryer doesn't let you pick your own temperature?!) It also had to be a certain size to fit down my very narrow basement staircase. This dryer fit the bill perfectly, with everything I wanted and none of the fancy wifi or app crap or touch screens I don't want in an appliance and at a very reasonable price! I chose this one over the others on my list of possibles based on price (it was cheaper than even the on-sale Whirlpool) and the fact that it was an inch narrower to make it easier to get in the doorway. It installed just fine, we did it ourselves (the dryer vent kit we bought with this was garbage though, FYI it is super chintzy will come apart if you look at it funny, the new cord had no issues.) The feet were easy to adjust to level it on our uneven concrete floor. It even has you do a vent check before starting a first load to make sure there are no vent obstructions. Bonus points- It's very quiet and smooth running. The door opening is huge so a large load of towels or a king sized comforter goes in nicely compared with my old dryer, whose capacity was fine but the downward opening door wasn't as big so my king sized stuff was a bit awkward. The buttons and knob feel nice and solid. The lint trap has a little plastic cover over the bottom portion so when you pull it out it keeps the lint from just falling into the drum. The noises that it makes when you turn it on and off are cute, and it plays a happy little tune when it's done with things. The only downside I can think of is that I wish you could make the end signal louder. I am hard of hearing and the laundry is in the basement so I can't always hear when it's done. But if you are in the basement when it goes off it sounds so cheerful! I have no real complaints at all with this dryer and would recommend it to anyone needing a new one.

Purchased Samsung dryer in September 2023 stoped working. Smh

We needed a new dryer due to having issues with it drying, but it was an older model. Well opportunity presented itself with this set so we bought it. We love it. I like that it senses when clothes are dry, which was new to me. I haven't had much to really go thru all the settings since I've been planning wedding stuff and just got married last weekend, so it's been hectic. The only complaint we all had was that it doesn't have a light in the dryer to see what's in it. Other than that, its quiet so huge plus since it's backed up to a bedroom. Since I posted this prior, we've used more options on the dryer. We like the sensor where it'll notify us at least 80% done to grab smaller dried clothes out so it can finish drying the other items. Perfect for jeans and heavier bulkier items to dry with less stuff in the dryer. Now the main feature we all love is the quick dry. Using the quick wash and it takes 15 min we love the quick dry as well. This is perfect when we forget to wash something, kids events and need it quickly. While we're getting ready, showered and stuff, this is the perfect one to use to ensure clothes are dry in a timely manner. The reversible dryer door would be convenient if needed to switch locations and it's not able to open up with the standard opening. The new feature to me that others didn't have was the lint trap notification when it needs to be checked. We do check this on every cycle but it's a good thing to have for those that don't.

Flexible Open: Can you believe that I never knew you could switch the direction of the dryer door? This feature makes such a difference- I was able to change the direction of the door in under 30 minutes. It’s the little things, right? 7.2 Cu. Ft. Capacity: Paired with the 4.1 cu. ft. washer, this laundry set eliminates runs to the laundromat for larger items like bedding and towels- and this saves me valuable time and money. 8 Preset Drying Options: These preset cycles take the guess work out of laundry. Seriously, who even needs a manual when Samsung creates the perfect cycle options? Lint Filter Indicator: While I always try to remember to change the filter after each use, the lint filter indicator light is a helpful reminder. Cons? None- we love everything from the design, finish, and features. With a busy household, we really appreciate all the little details that make this the perfect dryer for us! Samsung truly is the most innovative appliance brand and clearly listens to their consumers- love, love, love! Received this for free in exchange for honest feedback and opinion.
