Dryer senses clothes are dry when they aren't

However, when it comes to blankets, jeans, and heavy clothes, it does not dry them very well and often takes 2 cycle or more to completely dry them even though it suppose to be automatic.

I definitely recommended to anyone who has Samsung appliances in there homes.

It goes well with the matching washer. It’s easy to swap the door to the other side. Kinda cool having the window but I’m not gonna sit there and watch. I have yet to hook up the hose for the steam function but plan on it soon. It typically starts up a little loud but then it quiets down and I can barely hear it unless there’s jeans or shorts with metal buttons. I have it in a hallway closet in between my living room and bedrooms. Overall a decent dryer for the sale price.

I noticed it was a return, so the salesman knocked the price down even more. So far it has worked great.

Seems to take longer to dry than our previous Maytag dryer, though. Haven't used the steam feature yet but look forward to seeing how well it works..

not energy efficient, not worth the money

After carefully reading reviews for weeks, this is what I decided on. I work hard for my money and this a huge purchase for me so I wanted to make sure I got my money’s worth. I do love the large capacity and how many clothes I can fit in this washer. It has cut my normal 7 loads into 3 loads. However, when I have a normal sized load of whites to wash, it still takes TWO HOURS. when you select fabric softener, that adds on another 30 minutes. No matter what setting I select on the dryer, my clothes do not get dry. It will automatically kick off when it senses they’re dry, but they’re not. So I have to go set it on a timed dry to finish drying them. I only wash clothes on the weekends. I have an app to check my energy usage so I can get an idea of why my power bill will be. The days I use this washer and dryer my energy usage more than TRIPLES. Also, the biggest part of the reason I bought this dryer was for the sanitize option- it’s useless. Clothes come out damp, they never dry. And it’s the same the thing with the wrinkle option. for the amount of money I paid for this, I am very unhappy. A regular set with three settings would’ve been more useful and a thousand dollars cheaper. I would not recommend this and I definitely would not purchase this again.
