My old 25+ year old dryer was much quicker! Also, there is some setting issue with the normal cycle, so it shuts off after several minutes, even though the timer is set for 42 minutes! Overall, kind of a disappointment

Any of the automatic cycles where the dryer is supposed to sense when the load is dry, the load remains damp upon cycle completion. The only cycle that we've found to work is the "timed dry" cycle for 1 hour (or less, depending on load) with the "Eco Dry" setting turned "off" (which is NOT eco friendly and is adverse to the point of buying this dryer..." The steam cycles, such as the cycle to remove wrinkles, leave the load with wrinkles... after further research done after purchasing this dryer, I would have bought a different one all together.

Rattling piece of junk. Repairs did not work.

Had Best Buy install it. A metallic ratting sound started up a few months later. January 2021 it got so bad with loud rattling sounds coming from the back and the front. Called Samsung to repair while under warranty. They sent 3 local Samsung servicemen out 4 different times replacing the idler twice and all of the rollers. Said to give it a month to see if repairs worked. They have not. It is even louder now with a ca-thwump sound every time to drum spins on top of the loud metallic rattling at the rear and front. The longer the dryer runs the louder it gets. The more time goes by the louder it gets. If it keeps going like this it will probably rattle itself apart. The dryer was leveled at the start and each tech said it was level. Each tech could not identify what was the cause of the rattling even after a completely tearing it down to the frame. Called Samsung 1-800 number again to send a tech for a 5th repair and the tech was a no-show. The local Memphis TN Samsung service is not returning calls and I feel like I am getting the run around with this piece of junk dryer. Called Samsung 1-800 again to find out what is going on but still feel like a run around. This thing should have been replaced since repairs are not working. Very frustrated with this dryer and Samsung! I WILL NOT BUY ANOTHER SAMSUNG PRODUCT EVER AGAIN!

problems drying

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Each time I dried a load the clothes were damp at completion of the cycle I have called tech support and they were great at helping me trouble shoot. They had me turn up the drying level and a few other tweaks. Clothes are drying better but usually the whole load is still not completely dry.
