Seems like it doesn't really sense when things aren't dry. Towels and large items take forever to dry even on higher settings and longer dry times.

Heating element bad at 22 months

After tearing the thing apart we found the heating element to be broken. The vent has always been clear and the lint screen cleaned every cycle. We do use the machine on a daily basis but I would hope the heating element would last a bit longer than 9 months. Has worked fine up to this point but definitely ruined my Saturday night.

Squeaky Dryer!

Owned for 4 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After a couple months of owning and using the dryer (we bought the matching washer as well), it has started squeaking very loudly to the point you can't run the dryer at night which is when we would like it to run. Even with the laundry room door closed, we can hear it two rooms away. Also, on the normal settings, it typically leaves the clothes a little damp, but this might just be the way the new dryers sense the dryness of the clothes and attempt to be gentle on your clothes.

A dryer that does not dry

Our previous dryer never had an issue drying our laundry completely. This dryer on the other hand routinely leaves laundry damp. Additionally the steam options are worthless as clothing comes out extremely damp when using these settings. TLDR: looks elsewhere this dryer doesnt dry.

Stay with a traditional whirlpool or Maytag

All the different drying modes are great if you have time to stand around and wait on your dryer to dry a normal load of clothes for 2-3 hrs. The only mode that actually stays on and dries clothes in less than an hour is timed drying. The other ones suck and it thinks clothes are dry , Thanks to its ‘smart sensor’ when they aren’t and it’ll cut off and your clothes will be soaked.

I have had this product for about 3 weeks now and have done a minimum of 30 loads of laundry with it already. The sensor dry function does not work but could be awesome if it did dry my clothes 100%. Recently, I tried to dry a comforter for a bed, it took over 3 hours (On timed Dry) for me to dry the comforter to where I eventually just gave up on it. Yes. it is a comforter so I shouldn't expect it to easily dry. But, when my $400 GE Dryer that I replaced dries the same comforter in half of that time, it gets me frustrated. This drier is great at rolling any large bedding into a ball and not drying it completely. What is the point of all of the "eco" technology if the drier doesn't do its' job right the first time. I highly recommend that you look into a different drier.

A dryer that can't dry a regular load of clothes

I thought a dryer was supposed to dry clothes but this one doesn't. We have to put it on a "heavy duty" cycle to just hopefully dry a regular load of clothes. Not happy with this purchase AT ALL!!!!
