My original control board failed after just two years, which was frustrating but somewhat expected over time. However, after shelling out for a replacement—which, by the way, costs nearly 25% of a brand-new Samsung dryer—I was stunned when it failed again in just five months. At this rate, I’d be spending the price of an entirely new dryer every couple of years just on control boards. That’s simply unacceptable. I expected better longevity from Samsung, but after this repeated failure, I’m seriously considering switching to another brand altogether. If you’re thinking about buying this dryer, beware—you are taking a gamble.
