Nice Upgraded Dryer

It has a Steam Sanitizer cycle that is hooked into your washer's water line. The dryer door hinge can be changed to the other side --we did this as our washer is on the right. The inside capacity is much larger than our old dryer. It senses when your clothes are dry and shuts off. The chime at the end is loooooong and reminds me of a church hymn.

I did it on my own and the job was ridiculous. The door has to be completely disassembled including the glass coming out and reassembled again. Was not happy about this. I called out of curiosity and was told it was 50 bucks to do this job. Very poor design on Samsungs part.

Has more functions then I use. The large size fits a king size comforter with ease. It does however need to be run through two cycles to completely dry a king size comforter. Over all though, it is a great machine.

The steam sanitizer only goes on for like 2 minutes (even though it shows it's supposed to be on for 20+) and doesn't do the job I thought it would getting wrinkles out. Also, the app is pretty useless. You can set up the drying mode and everything, but then you have to physically press start on the dryer itself. Pretty pointless if you ask me.

Solid, reliable dryer

I'm not a huge fan of the feel of the touch screen as I had gotten used to the pressure sensitive buttons on my last Samsung dryer. These are just a soft touch, which is just a weird change from what I'm used to. I do love the design on the lint trap, which has a door that flaps shut when you remove it so nothing else can fall in there when the trap is out. I haven't used the network features yet, but that seems a bit superfluous to me, so I'm not sure that really adds much value here. Overall a good machine.
