Repair knew what it was, before they got here. Apparently, it is a known defect that requires a change of defective part.

Big blankets are kind of hard to get completely dry. And I wish the top was more on the flat side and not so slanted.

Enjoyed the washer after needing to replace one that went to shhhh but our dryer was a different brand. Well it went to shh as well so got the match. I will never buy Whirlpool again fwiw. Enjoy the wifi connectivity since both are in the basement. We get notifications on phones, and our Alexa devices. Comes in handy for a busy family of 4.
