If I want "normal" drying I can't change the temp settings. I have to put it on timed dry. For how "smart" it is the fact that I can't control it in every facet of drying is not appealing to me. I like the sani, and the fact that it takes water from the washer is a nice system. I did connect it to my smart thing's app, and now when it's done drying, I get an alert on my phone and even on my TV, think about connected it to your app, if getting alerts would annoy you.

Only lasted 1 1/2 years so warranty is no longer good. Two days ago everytime the drum made a full rotation it would make a small grinding noise. Today my wife sent me a pic of a problem (see pic). Im pretty handy so i went online looking for that felt seal, but couldnt find for this model. Called a few appliance part stores and they dont carry or just dont even work on Samsungs. Called one more place and they said usually have to replace the whole drum on the dryer cause they dont sell just the felt part by it self. Smh. Before this dryer I had a traditional looking white whirlpool dryer for 10 years and only had to replace the Thermal fuse once. Never had any problems. A year and a half later this Samsung is broken. I have a mad face by the way since i cant put emoji faces here.

My last washer I had to clean out a tray and this one is self cleaning which appealed to me. I also liked the height of the machines, no need to put a base under them.

Only one issue in the dryer the rack comes out when the dryer is on. I don’t need that rack so I took it off.
