I’m a nurse I need my uniforms washed. I can’t go to the laundromat . I wouldn’t be so mad if it wasn’t six months old. The first time this happened was only two months after purchase.

It’s an ok dryer

Drying takes a little bit longer than my past dryer. Have to shuffle load sometimes after first drying period to make sure it drys evenly. Sometimes some articles of clothes are dryer than others. Does the job.

However, it has some weird quirks. 1. The top of the dryer slants downward. If you sit something on top it slides off. There doesn't appear to be any good reason for this. I like to fold my laundry on top of the washer/dryer, but the slant makes it difficult. 2. The sensor that determines when the clothes are dry is totally off and it causes the dryer to stop prematurely before the clothes are dry. If you restart the dryer again using the same settings, the dryer runs for less than a minute and stops again. 3. The computer controls are overly complicated and non-intuitive. 4. The dryer has a special Dryness control that has 5 levels that range from 1: Less Dry to 5: More Dry. When you use most of the computer controlled automatic cycles such as Normal, Heavy Duty, Perm Press, etc. The Dryness setting is automatically set to 3: Middle Dry. Why would you ever want the Dryness setting set to 3? I would think most people would want this set to 5: More Dry. I am constantly changing the setting to 5. However, as mentioned above, ehe sensor that determines when the clothes are dry is totally off and it causes the dryer to stop prematurely before the clothes are dry. Even when the setting is set to 5: More Dry. 5. Due to the above quirks, I find myself using the Time Dry cycle all the time. However, when you use Time Dry cycle the Eco Dry button comes on by default. When this button is on, the dryer stops prematurely before the time you have it set for is up. So you have to remember to turn off the Eco Dry button when you use the Time Dry cycle. It's totally annoying. If it weren't for these quirks, I would have probably given this dryer at least 4 stars--maybe even 5.
