This dryer is a lemon. I had to have the motor clip AND motor replaced 2 times each (thats 4 fixes) all within the year it was under the manufacturer's warranty. I begged them to just send me a new one the last time (the 4th time). They wanted to fix it. Well, what do you know, a month after the warranty expired it quit again and I had to go buy a new one. NOW, my washer has been recalled. Samsung and Best Buy both were ZERO help to me. I will never buy another Samsung product and I will not be shopping at Best Buy!

It was what I wanted and was easy to set up and get started.

I am a little disappointed with how noisy the dryer is.

Lots of vibration sounds heard during while running.

Its been a little over 6 years and this dryer has broken down twice now. First the heating element went out and now the motor drive is junk.

I bought an open box, it showed up broken. Best Buy replaced it the next week with a new one, it made such a loud noise. Spoke with Best Buy. They replaced it. So far it's working well. Let's see how long. I will say that Best Buy was awesome to deal with!

Overall it works fine for normal usage. I was excited to try some of the steam options to quickly get out wrinkles or creases, but came back to my shirt being soaked 10 minutes later. Other than that, we haven't had any issues with the dryer.

We purchased this unit three and a half years ago. Loved the size for our family of seven. Dried clothes faster than they washed. Then it broke. And it broke again, and again. We’re currently awaiting our fifth repair (sixth visit). The extended warranty covers repairs but there is no guarantee as to timing. At this point it’s been 1-1/2 weeks since I called for the repair. We still don’t have a repair scheduled. Awaiting approval from the insurance company to cover the repair.

Broke twice since I’ve had it. It gets the job done and the anti wrinkle option is ok. I would go with a better brand.

We have called to have lint sensor fixed twice. The second time it still was not fixed. The dryer works quickly to dry clothes but the sensor breaking is a problem and very frustrating.

Do not buy this product form Samsung; it doesn’t dry well it breaks frequently. Choose a better appliance manufacture, this one is not dependable. I have never bought a poor quality product like this before at Best Buy I thought they used trusted products.

It is not working properly. Most of times it doesn't dry clothes. I have to run multiple times to dry clothes without any guarantee. It is not even 2 years old. Sometimes cycle keep on running forever and sometimes cycle finished in few minutes

Dryer takes forever to dry. You have to run two cycles for each load. Not happy with it at all. I bought it cause I needed a stackable washer and dryer set but once I move to a bigger place this machine is first to go.

Purchased the set in July 2016. Washer started limping in August of 2017. The dryer started struggling in Dec 2017. Both are now dead in January 2018. You do the math. They have a 12 month warranty. I will never purchase another Samsung product.

its broken more than 5 times, best buy refuses to replace it with another one. whats more, i have a 5 year warranty with it, at the 4 year mark they said the warranty had expired. Best buy had almost gone bankrupts some 10 years ago and with the kind of service they're providing i see them going downhill again.

The idler pulley fails and melts after 1 to 2 years of use due to a poor design feature. The bushing / roller that holds the pulley is just a solid bushing and has no bearings. It seizes and melts the pulley causing the belt to either break or become disconnected. Samsung will not fix this issue for you and has not recalled the part or the dryer.
