Purchased this dryer along with the coordinating washing machine. This dryer is absolutely wonderful! Our clothes are dry in half the amount of time, and my delicate items stay looking new with all of the extra settings. The steam setting is an added bonus as well. Would definitely recommend this Samsung dryer.

This is a great dryer, got it on sale and most importantly it hooks up to the main water supply for the steam, watch out some other dryers that do steam have to be manually filled which quickly becomes a pain.

it's an ok dryer. we had its drum rollers replaced like twice during the first five years. I replaced them later once and now it's making those sounds again. it's definitely not comparable to an LG dryer but if you can keep up with roller and possibly a belt replacement then it does the work. no problems with anything else.

I am happy with this unit. The steam feature comes in handy for me when I am using it for 15min to fluff/de-wrinkle my clothes. The lint catch is very nice. Somehow they got it to just fall right out when emptying it...almost like a non stick pan for cooking. Never seen anything like it. the only thing keeping me from 5 stars is the 280.00 price tag fr the pedestal attachment. I opted not to go for them as that was the cost of another washer/dryer when you get a pair. I just put a mat down and get on one knee to transfer the load. It is fine for me. If the pedestals go on sale at some point, I might revisit them.

We had older units that either over dried or under dried our clothes, this dryer has been perfect with drying. Very easy to use and good price.

Performance unknown at present. The electric requirements do not include the fact that most older homes do not have 240v power but do have 220v. This dryer has no options for 220v. If hooked up to 220v it voids the warranty.

My 1976 dryer died a little under a year ago, so I bought this dryer to match my new Samsung front-load washer. I have never regretted my decision. This dryer has a steam function which I have not used yet. In fact, I have not used many of the features. But I will say that it dries my clothes much faster than my old dryer did. I like the many options and features that the dryer has (maybe one day I'll actually get to use more than a few settings).

I hate the annoying on/off music that plays every time. But if you turn it off, there's no end of wash beep. The other annoying thing is the dryer turns off after each cycle, so I have to turn it back on and listen to the music again. Otherwise, the dryer functions great as expected. Especially love the steam feature for getting out wrinkles/refreshing something without washing it too. Door seems a bit cheap, and you've gotta slam it to get it to latch, but no other functional issues.

I will admit, I have had a Samsung dryer for 5 years so far but I don't use it heavily - maybe once a week if that. During the first 3 years, the belt broke and I had to replace it (easy fix, but annoying). Two years have gone by and now it seems that the metal drum is coming apart at the seams (literally - there's a large crack in the seam - see photo). That crack is causing the drum to be out of round and the dryer makes a loud thumping noise on each revolution. When I say research, look for this specific problem and you will find literally thousands of reports and videos of the same thing happening with Samsung products. Now, I am faced with the issue to repair (at a cost of $400+) or cutting my losses and replacing it with something else. I started the research into replacing with a different brand and it seems LG dryers have having some of the same issue. Samsung will do absolutely NOTHING for you outside of the warranty. Do NOT purchase a Samsung dryer.

I love the number of cycles and options. Can even steam clothes. The control panel is easy to use. Works perfectly. Although not incredibly noisy I would prefer if it were even better sound insulated.

The most I have ever spent on something like but I decided to go new instead of buying another set of used ones. Having this delivered and set up by bestbuy was also great!

Bought this along with the matching washer, and together the pair are awesome! The speed and efficiency of the dryer, the wrinkle prevent setting, thesteam feature and the touch up options have all been time savers and great tools to have in a house full of busy kids. So very happy with this set of purchases.

Ok, but definitely get a warranty. It started ti make a noise (drum bearing) about 3 years of owning it. I failed to claim it on Geek Squad warranty. Then at 6 years the heater went bad.

FIRST, BESTBUY WAS VERY UNHELPFUL!!! This dryer was delivered to my house 7/10 on August 5th it stopped working. The dryer does not heat up at all on any setting. I called Samsung the following day, I spent and hour and half on the phone with them and they could not get a tech to my house and sooner than Aug.14th!!! I have 4 kids!! I think the fact that it broke that soon they should offer to give me a refund or send me a new dryer!!!! Now they're going to start taking it apart and who knows what will happen after that!!! I can't even believe that for the cost of this dryer I am experiencing all of these issues!!!!! I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FOR BESTBUY OR SAMSUNG AGAIN!

I love our new Samsung dryer. I love that it can take more load compared to our old standard one. It is very easy to used and the time clock on the display actually tell you when it will be done. I LOVE it and would recommend it to anyone that want to upgrade their dryer.

The washer and dryer have a great mix of energy efficiency and production speed.

its worth the original price all though I bought it with twp gift cards i recieved with a cell phone purchase. It is easy to use and does its job.
